If you don’t want the story potentially ruined for you, I wouldn’t open this thread.
I believe from watching the clips, and the extended teaser trailer for part two, that the Storm/Covenant break-away faction are attempting to create a portal into the UNSC Infinity, making use of the Forerunner artifact’s presence there.
I theorise that they are successful in doing this, and the Storm/Covenant Breakaway faction are what Palmer and the other Spartan IVs are fighting off in the glimpses of the second part of the season we have been shown.
The communication with Halsey may have been an attempt to have her help speed up this process.
Where this all ends remains to be seen. What do you guys think?
