Just finished the campaign and i have to give it to 343 they did a good job building towards some pretty interesting story elements and a pretty emotional journey and conflict has certainly been set up for John in halo 6 and 7. Ok So we didnt get the character building we did with Halo 4 but i think that was the point, they setup a very engaging story for the next 2 games and they are also adding new characters to the mix with osiris having a personal stake against this new threat and im pretty sure they will flesh out the team more. This was more of an introduction to this new Reclaimer Saga then halo 4 was. But Spartan Ops was needed to be played to understand the games opening act. I am actually one of the people who loved it and i really think they desperately need to bring it back to take halo 5 to another level. Spartan Ops gave players a chance to become involved with the plot with your own fireteam. My fireteam crimson consisted of me, my cousin and my 2 friends and we played every episode on its release and we loved every second. It was our spartans, our story for our team and that was special. Halo 5 can do it and do it better and it will be good for 343 because they will keep players playing longer and it will make us players feel more involved with a great but vague plot. Hopefully 343 reads these and really gives spartans ops a second season because while i think halo 5 is great, it kind needs Spartan ops right now.
I’m sure there will be some type of talk about adding another season. Wouldn’t make much sense to have different seasons if they only come out with one.
The rest of Spartan Ops story took place within the Escalation comics. Current issue 23 is probably the one right before the begging of Halo 5. Check them out.
If they did do another Spartan Ops, I’d love to see cutscenes with your fireteam ala Reach.
Honestly Elite Expansion or Fire fight> Spartan Ops
Yes. Being Fireteam Crimson again as you help the Infinity survive the crazy situation She has found herself in

I read them. I just really liked how they let the players be fireteam Crimson. When i think of Spartans IVs going on missions i think of my spartan and my friends spartans. We were crimson and i enjoyed the story and missions alot cause it kept me playing.
I would say the criticism around campaign in H5 is totally due to the lack of a Spartan Ops Series 2. Well the fact they decided to release it as a comic.
I too loved Spartan Ops but also Firefight. We need more content and I really hope 343 deliver this in the upcoming 6 months

Well there’s no info about dlc other than armors that were mentioned to be added in and the dlc maps are coming in 8 months.
I loved spartan ops and would love to seed a season 2! I really hope 343 does a season 2!!
I would like to see Spartan Ops and Firefight come back with the Req system in place.
I also loved Spartan ops, wish they did the weekly release of story/missions again. Was like having a digital comic, Now if they did a story like an old school find your own fate book. Where you and your team could pick paths AKA make choices that give each weeks story a few different endings. Spartan ops was the halo you could play and not stress just play chat and have fun.
Wait, Halo 7?
If I recall correctly they have scrapped the Spartan Ops game mode completely due to criticism and low amounts of players.
It had phenomenal potential but it was horrendously written. Palmer talks little else aside from ‘eggheads’ as we scramble to push button after button as Roland cracks horrific jokes.
The gameplay wasn’t too bad, I’d say. Defending the Infinity was tons of fun. 343i simply dropped the ball and I don’t think they can be encouraged enough to bring it back.

What about it? They already said it they aren’t calling this string of halo games a trilogy simply so they aren’t held down by 3 games.
