With the conclusion of Spartan Ops season 1 coming soon, why hasnt season 2 been announced?
At this point I dont think anyone has a vaild argument against Spartan Ops since the release of episodes 6+. When SpOps season 1 ends itll be either before the release of Majestic map pack or at the same time, thats mid/end of Febuary. I really think a second season would be great, and would really help prolong the life of Halo 4. Im pretty sure Ive seen an article that claimed a new Halo game is already being worked on but they should be capable of support H4 to its full potiental and work on new Halo. I have faith in 343i to make quality Halo, so I would only expect more SpOps if it all could work story wise and would continue to be good quality.
I want more Sops myself I would pay 1200 msp for it. I know people will say it should be free but I understand that it takes money to keep these guys doing this as it takes people away from making Halo5.

Shame episodes 1-5 were so bad. It’s not my thing SOPS (although I do like to watch the videos each week), but I can see that episodes 6-10 have been much better, and I can see why people who are in to that sort of thing would enjoy them.
However, how many people were lost with 1-5, I expect a LOT. Thus making potential purchases of season 2 much smaller. They really should have taken the time to make 1-5 decent, they almost killed it off before it began.

So you would pay for maps that you would be playing over and over again.

SPOPS is boring campaign stuff and Firefight is fun.
OK tell me how to play gruntpocalype or other firefight stuff in SPOPS.

Good that u like SOPS.
Its ok for me. Different people - different opinions.
But offline player cant enjoy SOPS.
Firefight was playable offline.
And u could make your own setup.
I really enjoyed Firefight in ODST and Reach.
And I´m not a hater of SPOS but its very fast very very boring for me.
I think they should definitely bring back season 2 even if its only cinematics i absolutely love the story and the depth they are exploring with the Librarian and Halsey and even Lasky. The missions i will agree need to be in new environments. I don’t mind backtracking and playing different parts of the same level as long as they kept coming up with fresh environments every 2 weeks or so. I think that the missions have gotten considerably better compared to the first half of the season and if they continue on the path their on I think season 2 would be a home run all the way through
Really hope 343i makes season 2 it will keep me playing Halo 4 for sure. (not that i need a reason I just beat the campaign for like the 10th time and Im gonna try SLASO on Saturday for the whole run through withough dying)
I really think there should be a Season 2. Despite what a few people think I am really loving the story of the Spartan Ops, and I can’t wait to see where it goes.
Plus it gives people like me who mostly play single campaign go online and then slowly join in multi-player.
I would love for season 2. Would gladly pay for it as well.
Spartan OPS has sort of become a weekly ritual in my house, along with The Walking Dead.
Its an awesome idea, a great way to get people playing online who don’t necessarily want to play competitively, and still advance the story forward, introduce new characters and new situations.
