I’m sure 343i knows how to balance their budget, time, and resources. They will be able to make a rational decision with all of the information that they have access too.
There is also no shortage of Halo 5 story. Tons of lore to go with. 
Yeah, I’d love to play the same 5 episodes for the next 3 or 4 years, sounds good.

Bungie made two full Halo games side by side, ODST and Reach. 343i can manage to make a few small mini-campaigns and Halo 5.

I dont know about that.
I mean 343i (oversaw) the development of Halo CEA while similatonoiusly developing halo 4 and diverting resources to FUD and while it sold well,Halo 4 arguably has the least amount of content.
Im hoping 343i has learnt from its mistakes and has 3 seperate teams dedicated to building spartan ops , campaign and multiplayer .

A season 2 will generally follow a season 1, and I don’t see SpOps getting canned any time soon.
It could do without mid-season breaks though…
How about no, focus on Halo 4, fix and add content that should already be there, support the game and work on a Season 2 of Spartan OPs and make some more maps. I and others enjoyed Season One, but you can make some improvements to it and make it even better.
of course they are and people will buy it with the next xbox console. its only a year away. and it will have less content than any other halo.
remember the last gen when games had map makers and all, then along comes the 360 and we got only half the content of previous titles but in HD. then along came dlc

Not in terms of Custom Game options. Or Theater. Halo 4 is the most restrictive Halo game to date in terms of what you can do with what little content is there.

why go hate that much if you wanna play firefight go play reach or ODST.
And even in REACH everybody complaint about firefight you guys are never satisfied…

This so much, it feels restrictive in terms of what you can do. You can’t even play Spartan Ops offline.
Chances are, with how DLC content development works, Season 2 of Spartan Ops was probably in development as soon as principal development on the game proper was completed… so Season 2 was being put together before the game even released. It can often take 6 months for a DLC pack to go through XBox certification. Given that Season 2 is likely not far away, the pack is probably nearing completion already, if not already done.
spartan ops season 2 will probably never happen, we can hope anyway.
