It seemed like a lot of stuff has happened between Halo 4 and Halo 5 we don’t know about and i think Halo 5 really needs a Spartan Ops season 2 to tell us what happened between Spartan Ops Season 1 and Halo 5. Stuff like:
-What did Jul M’dama and Halsey do between the two games?
-What was the Infinity doing between the two games?
-Why are the Covenant and the Prometheans enemies again?
-When did the Prometheans start using Soldiers and Phaetons, since these didn’t appear on Requiem?
-With Requiem destroyed, where are the Prometheans coming from?
And probably more if i gave it some more thought.
Though i liked Halo 5, i was a bit disappointed in the length of the campaign and the lack of PVE multiplayer content. At least they are bringing back Firefight later this year, though i would appreciate Spartan Ops Season 2 even more because i really want some questions answered.

They still did H5 after H4!
They told all of this in a comic book series called Halo Escalation. Literally almost everything you listed lol. And some of them explain themselves.
I think it would be kinda weird if they brought it back now just to fill in gaps it would be like introduction - conclusion - then the body of a story the flow would be weird and confusing for people just coming into it.
Maybe with so2 they could fix the story a little bit.
Well considering Brian Reed royally -Yoinked!- what spartan ops was building in terms of story with Halo 5 and the escalation comics, I seriously doubt we’re getting season 2.
I mean, I don’t want to be too harsh on him, because it probably sucks hard for your work to be hated and criticised so heavily by the community you make it for, but come on man…

Last 5 chapters of season 1 was good. I don’t think a season 2 is necessary though.
I would actually like a Spartan Ops 2 that leads off after the ending of Halo 5, like the first one with Halo 4. Maybe with skirmishes against the Created and such

Wow, thats cynical. I hate having to hear her in Warzone but I don’t want her killed off. Much less will I allow it to ruin fun parts of the game for me
It would be nice, but one thing they shouldn’t do is copy-paste the same 5-6 battlegrounds for every mission. But, they already confirmed no story DLC and I don’t know if I want to see Brian Reed writing anything else anyways
