When will the Spartan Ops Season 2 be available? 343i has been quite about it for a long time now. 
I’m pretty sure that many players are starting to get bored and most of the time with the current season, there are about 100 players per playlist.
But have they actually confirmed that season two is in progress? I remember that they stated somewhere around mars or april at a press conference that Spartan Ops - Season two, was not in the works and that they did not have any plans at that moment to make another season… yet.
There has never been any confirmation–or even a hint, to the best of my knowledge–that a second season of Spartan Ops will exist.
yet they left the door open for the perfect opportunity to only have to add some minor stuff to keep everyone interest and build up anticipation to yet another game release without everyone hoping the new game will be more.
we can now move past technology and work on the ongoing evolution of the story over a longer time period but with less time in-between seasons.
my guess is that every 4 to 6 months a new season should be released or at least 4 - 6 episodes minimum
season endings would be more of a finale then an ending and the anticipation for the next season or a completely new game would be the next release.
so a minimum of 1 to 2 years per new game release and a min of 1 season of at least 12 episodes at least one release every month.
talk about a zillion dollar idea for free.

On topic, 343i aren’t working on a season two. That doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen, but they have the door open when the time comes.
I hope they work on it soon I want a new season of spartan ops.
There’s no reason for them to start working on it, as of yet.
If I had to guess? If they started working on another Spartan Op right before the release of the Halo TV series, kind of like a lead in. But that’s a guess, and a very broad one at that.
Spartan Ops was fun, but with the current state of the market, it wouldn’t be free. Microsoft is dealing with enough s*** right now from outside sources regarding the Xbox One that I doubt SP2 was on their agenda.
You can’t really say it’s missing if its existence was never confirmed.
343 stated at PAX that there was no plans for a Season Two of Spartan Ops. But they did say that the stories that were being told won’t necessarily be over and will be told in other forms of media. Just not Season Two. Yet.

Yes, because being quiet for 4 months about something that takes twice, if not three times as long to make is quite unusual…
Season 1 ended in February. That’s 4 months ago. 343i said it took a lot of work and time to make Season 1. This means don’t expect Season 2 anytime soon. I’m expecting it late 2013, maybe even early 2014.
Yes, I really want a Season 2. Of course I do. But it’s going to take a lot of work and time from 343i to make Season 2, so I’ve got to be patient. Which I will gladly do since I know Season 2 is going to be awesome.
they learned so much doing season 1 that everything after will be much easier but really it is the story that counts today in EVERYTHING !!! so until the story has been polished and smoothed we have to wait, grrrr because no matter how easy it gets to DO, it is still WRITTEN by humans and anything humans do that is worth anything takes TIME.
but, they don’t need to be such pansies on not letting us know this is what they are doing. we love to speculate and hell, they might be able to steal some great ideas…lol it is the america way lol FREE IDEAS, lol or stolen ideas lolol

That’s from seven days ago. Season 2 isn’t happening, not with Halo 4.
It’s probably dead, ad won’t return in any future Halo games. Unless they make it 10x better, with less repetitive gameplay.

Then they shouldn’t have called Season 1 of Spartan Ops…Season 1.
Doubtful there will be one. Or ever a Spartan Ops as we know it in another Halo game ever again (thankfully).
It costs more than Firefight to produce and is wayyyyy more boring, it didn’t keep people coming back like they had hoped.
343 has really been slapped in the face with realization since November on how to run this game.
