i think it would be class if in season 2 you played as the Elites and fought for the covenant and Halsey etc against humanity. you could fight as a group of special Elites. Thoughts?
It would be cool but it’s probably not going to happen. 343 would have to make the Elites as playable characters, and they’re already not playable in multiplayer.
Not the first time something like this has been suggested, personally I think they should have a DLC or stand alone game that’s similar to ODST but where you play as a Zealot with a squad of other zealots.
I think that would be a good way to both introduce the Arbiter and his elites into halo 5 (and the rest of the series) as well as showing the elites in day to day operations instead of just elites who got steam rolled by the sudden appearance of spartans.
Not to mention it would be a good way to get players use to seeing friendly elites for both the campaign of halo 5 and halo 5 multiplayer (assuming elites are playable in halo 5, which looking at the biggest thread on the waypoint forums it would be surprising if they weren’t).

thats right, if only
I love being an elite
I love it better than being a spartan
And I love your idea.

thanks a lot! appreciated
Totally support this idea. It can even stand alone as its own spin-off title. A game focused on the other side of the story: the Sangheili. Would be a fresh take on Halo.
I would rather the elite perspective be from one of the arbiter’s followers. This way you would still be allied with humanity, and they could flesh out the civil war going on at sanghelios.
