So im aware that Sparton Op’s missions/chapters are released weekly, but what nobody seems to mention is how many weeks until it stops?
I mean if the gap between each game is 3 years then we would have a good 156 chapters with 5 missions each until Halo 5.
This to me sounds like way to much and would only make sense to stop after a few months, so does anybody know how long they are keeping the weekly releases going?
Seasons will go on for months. They have a plan to keep whit going on for years if fans like it.
Who says the missions have to stop?
343 seems serious about basically delivering new Spartan Ops missions every week from opening day until the release of Halo 5. If it’s 3 year, that’ 150 weeks, and 5 missions per week, 750 missions total. Now that sounds like some good value.
Now they haven’t released any deatils so that’s mere supposition at this point. But even if they release them in “seasons,” say 10 weeks on, 10 weeks off, that’s still 50 new missions every 20 weeks. Or they could do it ala TV seasons. 26 weeks on, 26 weeks of “reruns.” However 343 puts it together it looks like we’ll be getting 100+ 15 minute missions to play through outside of the main campaign. Which is totally cool.
