Hello. I’ve been having this problem since Halo: Reach.
I am unable to play co-op anything in either Halo: Reach and now Halo 4.
I was sure that Halo 4 would be different and I would be able to play it, but unfortunately I can not.
This makes me very unhappy.
Anytime I get close to a check point or even in the first three minutes a message will pop up about disconnecting to the other players in the party. It’s really a pain in the butt.
I want to play co-op campaign and it looks like this will be the second Halo game that I will be unable to do that with. It annoys the hell outta me.
If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this problem I will be more than happy to listen.
That’s definately an ISP problem. I don’t know if its because of your bandwidth or a problem with the signal between your Xbox and your router. If your using wireless then try switching to an ethernet cable for the connection.
Running over it in my head and I can’t think of anything as far as settings on the game or the console that could intentionally make that happen.
OP, you’re not the only one with this problem. I’ve had the same thing happening to me since Reach as well. I know it can’t be the connection since a 25Mbps Downstream/2Mbps Upstream connection shouldn’t be having problems with this at all. Halo 3’s Firefight mode and co-op campaign work flawlessly, yet Reach’s Firefight and Co-op campaign or Halo 4’s don’t work anymore. I’d suspect it to be the game host or 343i’s servers causing the problem.
