Spartan Ops Plot

Anyone want to take a crack at what it might be? Or just want to be creative and come up with some cool ideas?

What we know so far is that Spartan Ops is the story of the Spartan IV’s on the UNSC Infinity.

Why red spartans can fight blue spartans

I would imagine that there will be a handful of night missions similar to Nightfall in Halo Reach. I guess it’s practically a given actually.

I think the infinty along with spartans IV’s are going to track down fourunners and useing the technology they can destroy the covies onnce and for all

My very vain attempt:

-Infinity finally gets the Distress Call from Cortana…
-They set off to go and retrieve her and John…
-They encounter all kinds of things, be it resistance or opportunities to further the UNSC’s Goals…
–(whatever they are)–
-They then finally meat up with Cortana and John and continue to aid them in whatever Quest it is we find ourselves doing…

…There’s my very vague and empty attempt…

…Enjoy…

No, they are going to make more Halo games and that might be in the campaign.

You guys remember when 343i said they were going to make it make sense why red spartans can fight blue spartans this is obviously it. :open_mouth:

Actually, that’s just for the Multiplayer side, and it’s already been confirmed it is nothing more than a Training Simulation…

…Which is a little disappointing I’ll admit, but it’s pretty much the only one that would really make sense…

Nope, combat training in Multiplayer is the reason for that. Think of it as being like College Football practice where they practice against their own to improve before facing off against the opposition.

I was thinking of what the Freelancers (Red VS Blue Series) did in season 9. That season was tight by the way.

oh

I’ll throw my two cents in . . .

I’m not hoping or anything, I’m sure that whatever 343 comes up with that it’ll be awesome but here is my take:

The UNSC Infinity takes on a mission to halt a covenant band of pirates outside a revived UNSC colony. This is a test of both the forerunner UNSC vessel and the Spartan IV’s on board. After a mission or two they are intercepted by a group of Sangheli warriors who are opposed to their human allies. This battle ensues in space.

After that the UNSC Infinity makes it their objective to help Thel Vadam (sp) crush the Sangheli rebellion.

I don’t know I just really want to fight elites and covenant remnants.

Fingers crossed, we’ll be fighting Insurrectionists.

I completely forgot about them…

…Well if it adds another Enemy to face and adds some more depth to the Game, then hell, I’m all for it…

It’s the fact that we still haven’t come across them in person that makes me think that they will make an appearance in Halo 4, maybe as ex-UNSC factions within Requiem.

I was so disappointed that they didn’t have them appear Reach…I mean the setting and atmosphere they could have created would have been perfect:

-Noble Team set off to fight Insurrectionists
-They encounter them, and battle against them
(This would give a relatively accurate representation of what Noble Team have been doing)
-Then, a Wild Covenant Appeared, it used Invade, Noble Team is confused

…I just think that it would’ve have been a worthwhile transition to have been put through, even if it were for just one bloody Mission…

…Oh well, here’s to fighting them In Spartan Ops…

When H4 was first announced, I read this thing were it said rouge UNSC and ONI science people and infanty were stranded on requim so decided to take it out on the unsc and fight against them with the materials they discouved on requiem.

Wild Covenant used Invade.
It’s Super Effective!

Rofl, that would be cool though
