I told 343 about the new weps skins and armor not showing up in ops gameplay in which it would revert to the default gun and armor and on one rare instances it would reset all my load outs. I really like ops after I got over the little bit of fan rage about being on the same level back to back but after a little bit of time I love it. I want to play with the perfect armor set on ops and also I paid money for it to work on all game types. Petty officer 3rd class US NAVY
Just when is the next update
How do you expect someone to know the next update? also its prefect.
The new armor and skins are for multiplayer only not Spartan ops.

BS angel confirmed that the new armours, skins or perks will never work in Spops. I don’t have the link to the thread where she posted this, but everyone in that thread were sad. And mad.
But the reset glitch will be fixed at some point.
None of the Champions DLC content works in Spartan Ops, and 343i already said this is something that can’t be fixed… mind you, they didn’t tell us that until 2 weeks AFTER the DLC was released. Like many of us, you’ve found out too late. Sorry, dude
Wait 4 it this is the kicker. The day it was released I wrote a message on here to 343 And got a reply within a few minutes that said we are working on and the why he said it was like “we will take our time” now I can’t even find my post. So I guess they worked on it but they could not get it to work but I would have loved if they told me this before hand. Also to the grammar -Yoink!- after my post maybe I don’t care how I spell it cuz it don’t matter

That’s incorrect. bs angel informed us around two weeks prior to release that the armour would not work in Spartan Ops, albeit only through a post on the forums. Nevertheless, the information was out there, and many of us knew about it.
EDIT : Nevermind what I said. Turns out that my memory proved my wrong, and we only found out the day before that the new content wouldn’t be available in Spartan Ops.

You mean the day before release when the TU launched?

-Yoink-. For one, the only “warning” post I’m aware of came the day before the DLC was released. Secondly, I’m an avid forum goer and I didn’t find that post until WELL into the discussion about SOPS DLC problems and I am certainly not alone nor even in the minority (not by a long shot) in that.
Dispensing vital consumer information in an easily missed thread does not excuse the other ways in which 343 let us down (ex. not putting the very simple statement “for wargames only” in the marketplace description for champions) and is, in fact, one of the more aggravating parts of this whole fiasco. It shows a complete lack of awareness for our basic needs and expectations. Worse, it also shows an incredible reticence to take responsibility for blatant violations of consumer-business trust (even just by acknowledging that there was an issue with misleading PR) or to take appropriate action after the fact to at least try to mitigate the damage (to us and to their own reputation.)
343 has been juvenile in almost every respect here. Don’t try to defend them for it because while you may not have been affected by their actions those actions in and of themselves should not leave you with any confidence in their ability to manage a population or even to sell games.

Was it the day before the release? My bad, my memory about this issue is foggy, I thought it was sooner than that. For that matter, disregard my last post, sorry!
But I agree with you, the way that they handled this situation was very immature of them. They should have informed us weeks in advance through a Bulletin that the content would only be available in War Games. It’s clear that they chose to not reveal this information in an attempt to maximize sales, which is very poor treatment of their customers. If anything, this makes me more weary about the future of Halo, and I’m going to tread lightly regarding any products they will release in the future until they prove themselves to be capable of being trusted again.
I’m sorry, I didn’t want to come off seeming like I was trying to defend them. Quite the opposite, actually, I’m quite dissatisfied about the large amount of bugs/limitations of the Champions Bundle, and an very disappointment in their treatment to us. I was merely under the impression that the knowledge was a bit more widespread for a longer period of time prior to release, but I was mistaken. Once again, I apologize for having spread false information.

No, actually you’re wrong. BS Angel informed us via a random forum post literally HOURS before the Champions DLC was released. However, she did NOT actually tell us that it couldn’t be fixed until two weeks later, again via another random forum post.
I bought the DLC anyway in the hopes that they would eventually fix it; it was listed in the Known Issues for TU changelist regarding the Champions DLC Bundle. There for, I assumed it was only a glitch and would be fixed in time…
Angel later told us that they “had no current plans” to fix it; they didn’t say it COULDN’T be fixed, again not until two weeks later. Those are the facts.

I know, my bad. See my above post.

And I’m sorry that I came down so overly harsh towards you when that energy should have been much more tightly focused at those who created this mess. It’s not every day you have a “AAA” dev take such liberties with it’s community or act so dodgily when said community tries to point that out, but that’s hardly any excuse for being a big jerk myself.
