I know people love to play Halo 4 online (I do too) but I feel like Spartan Ops should be accessible offline. I want to be able to face the covenant/Prometheans when I’m offline in some type of game mode. Beating the campaign over and over and 1v1 matches get boring after a while. Does anyone have the same feeling/problem? Will 343 fix this issue?
I agree with this wholeheartedly. I used to have gold, but since then i can’t play it at all.
Yeah halfway through a mission and you become disconnected from xbox live is pretty disappointing.

Not sure as to why the would essentially ‘paywall’ a major component of the game.
I agree big time with this. Big time. Spartan Ops was my cup of tea. Was really sad it wasn’t offline accessible.

Dude said matches which doesn’t necessarily have to involve matchmaking.
I my self do not currently have Xbox live gold and I have not yet been able to play spartan ops and I would love to be able to play it.
Would also be nice to have local co op play in spartan opps

Yes you can. Just go to “Infinity” then go to “Spartan Ops” then go to “Find Game” and then 5 episodes will show up. Choose one and wait until people join. This is only possible online.
Sweet!! As soon as I gold I will try it! Just need some one to play legendary with me… Gotta get them achievements!!
yea offline would be legit. I wonder if 343i will include this option when it makes its way to MCC.

Don’t forget to download Spartan Ops Season 1: Episodes 6-10 available from the Xbox Marketplace. Just go back to the Main Menu and scroll through the available things to download and you’ll see it. Definitely worth the download.
But, I also agree. A couple of times I’ve come to want to play Spartan ops but my internet had been playing up. it’d be cool to play offline, but I guess its online because it has to upload stats and stuff to the Halo 4 servers and also for communicating between players when you’re looking to play with other people.
i agree only time i been able to play spartan op missions was during last weekend (10/12/15) during the free multiplayer weekend i got rather high just by myself doing it got abt lvl 21 within 3 days was rather cool i just wish that i could continue playing the mission by my self. but i cant sadly free multiplayer weekend ended and got to wait for next one or when i get myself gold when i have the cash.
No Spartan Ops with no gold makes me sad.
