Spartan ops needs to be FIXED. It's broke.

Iv seen that episode 6 will have much more varied environments. That’s a start. But it won’t fix the last twenty five missions.

Online spartan ops is on legendary. So some of this won’t apply if you’re playing on a lower difficulty.

  • Each enemy has the intelligence of a bag of bricks. To compensate they get more health and deal more damage. Of all the ways to make the game harder this is the least fun. This needs to be fixed.

  • There are fuel rods and generals on every corner. This needs to be fixed.

  • The amount of enemies don’t decrease in number if there are less players in a game. This is a nightmare on Promethean levels. This needs to be fixed.

  • Dying means nothing to a player. So players are welcome to attempt suicidal tactics in order to kill the enemy quicker. Legendary gets to a point where on some maps players might have just as many deaths as they do kills. This needs to be fixed.

  • Assists aren’t rewarded as much as they should be. (assassinations being stolen are also rather upsetting) this needs to be fixed

  • Aside from assists and sharing a warthog, A spartan opps team acts more as a group of individuals rather than a team. Whilst i never realy expected The cooperative part of the game to be as good as left 4 dead… It would be good to experiment with some l4d features.

-On death, It bothers me that you have to restart an entire mission when trying to defend points in spartan ops. Why not have a checkpoint? This needs to be fixed.

  • Spartan ops missions are always the same and repetition of the same mission can be less than exciting. This needs to be fixed. Why not add slight variations to enemy/prop placement? Random dice rolls on the layout of certain things.

  • You can’t Customise the options or use skulls or any such thing for spartan ops. This needs to be fixed

In conclusion, Spartan ops needs work done to it.

The points you brought up aren’t exactly valid. It’s working as intended. How can you fix something that isn’t broken?

Legendary should essentially be heroic but with Dastardly enemies who don’t make errors at all. That’s my opinion. It shouldn’t convert every Minor elite into a general with four times your normal shields (your own becoming useless). Might as well play as peasants with sharp sticks.

I disagree with your points. It makes sence for enimes to be stronger on higher difficulty

Thats why its called legendary. Your not ment to drop them like flies. And if your smart on how you play you wont die as much

It isn’t that they have more health but the AI is more coordinated as well. Legendary is fine as it is in regards to spartan ops.

This makes no sence you dont like that on legendary you have a hard time, but hate that you cant add skulls? So do you like the challange or not because that makes no sence

Most games do this.

It’s still not a good game mechanic. It doesn’t matter if other games do it or not.

I disagree with all of your points, especially concerning the AI. Spartan Ops is quite fun the way it is, and having the large amount of AI is what separates it from campaign. I always feel as though I’m working in a team when I play Spartan Ops, so perhaps the whole “four individuals” thing is only your perspective.

However, I do agree that having skulls would be nice, but Spartan Ops is by no means broken or needs to be fixed. It’s great the way it is.

What the hell do you expect?

Spartan OPs kinda pretty much works like the Campaign to a greater extent. Alot of the issues you point out are in the singleplayer campaign.

It’s not hard when you have infinite lives.

Legendary to me isn’t harder, it’s just more time consuming. That’s a problem.

Kind of have to agree with Jack.

The enemy isn’t really harder or more fun to fight. Just have stronger weaponry. Trying to fire two Elite Fuel Rod Generals at once is not fun. Especially when they have shields that can take a full clip to the face.

People Yoinking your assassinations, and player Teamwork are down to the player, not the game.
