As the title describes, since season 7, when ever I complete a Spartan ops mission, it isn’t being registered in the mission select section.
Frustrating as I’m going for the solo legendary achievement, anyone else having this issue?
I’m having the same issue. Completed Galileo (Chapter 3 Level 2) and it did not register. I was playing with the skulls Catch, IWHBYD, Cowbell, and Grunt Birthday Party.
I am having the same issues. I have played the final Episode (5) in Chapter 5 (the one where you are tasked with finding Spartan Thorn and ends with you getting captured by the Covenant) like 3 or 4 times now, as well as the following mission that starts off with you as a Covenant prisoner once or twice. I’ve been playing them on Solo Legendary and the only Skulls I have on are Grunt Birthday and IWHBYD. But it’s still not registering in the mission selection screen as me completing the mission despite me getting an Achievement for completing the first 5 Chapters/Seasons of Spartan Ops.
Not sure what the deal is but the missions are a pain in the -Yoink- on Solo Legendary. Enemies know almost exactly where you are at almost all times with some god-like hyper awareness. Like to the point where I send out a hologram, the enemy doesn’t see me deploy the hologram, but they will still bypass the hologram and zero in on me. Or enemy Wraiths that know exactly where I am and know when to shoot to instantly kill me as soon as I step out of cover. And spawning/despawning for both the player as well as weapons are completely ruined. Nothing says “beating your head against a brick wall until it finally gives” like having a spawn system that spawns you right in the middle of enemies that can one-shot you on Legendary over and over and over again before you end up getting killed a dozen or so times before you make any progress. Or you kill an enemy that has a specific weapon or you die with a specific weapon only for it to despawn in 10 seconds before you have a chance to get it. (Which sucks because I am going for the Seasonal Challenge of getting kills with the Energy Sword).
In short, this crap is really infuriating and I may give it another try again later without the Skulls to see if that might be the issue…but I gotta wait for the headache that is Spartan Ops on Solo Legendary play to go away first.
Update, can confirm that it is still acting up. I have completed all the Spartan Ops missions ranging from 5-5 (Memento Mori - Spartan Thorne) up through 8-4 (Expendable - Crystal Ball) and they are still not registering as “completed” in the mission selection screen. I ran mission 5-5 on Solo - Legendary and the remainder of those mentioned above on Solo - Heroic without any Skulls turned on and they are still not registering as complete.
Oddly enough, when completing Spartan Ops mission 5-5 on Solo Legendary without any Skulls turns on, it still said I completed the Skullduggery Weekly PVE Challenge which is for completing a campaign, playlist, or Spartan Ops mission with at least one scoring Skull enabled. That being said…even though the Spartan Ops Mission Selection screen does not register/show the missions as being completed, the game overall still does because I was still earning the Rare Achievements for completing each Episode of Spartan Ops.
Still, I wish they would fix this little bug because I would love to scroll through my Mission Screens and see “completed” for all the missions.

They are still tracking towards the appropriate difficulty achievements. I unlocked all of them throughout the week by completing it legendary solo.
Still no change and we are near 2022, was hosing this would get fixed eventually.
