Spartan Ops Mission Failure

So has anybody noticed this on Ep. 5 Ch. 1? If both of the thingamajigs are destroyed, you fail the mission. What do you think of this with people being able to fail the mission and you have to be more alert if you don’t want to fail since an AFKer could make a team fail.

I’m more pissed about not getting my -Yoink!- achievement for not dying during the defense part.

Seems like another glitched achievement.

Same

For the cheevo it needs to be on Heroic, both thingys need to survive, and it doesn’t matter if you die.

Its not bugged, its badly worded. You need to have both of those computer things still intact after you kill them all.

Being able to fail a mission is a good concept if executed right. It should set you back to a checkpoint or not give you full xp though instead of just kicking you out of a match (I’m assuming it kicks you out of the match, right?)

That said, it’s pretty much damn impossible to fail a mission because of how easy it is coupled with the unlimited respawns. That needs fixed.

FINALLY a mission with a bit of danger too it.

If it’s like Generator Defense from Reach’s FF. That would be possible.

Are you proposing lives like in firefight and insta respawns at new checkpoint if the players are out of lives?

It’s a extended Campaign. You didn’t get Game Over in Halo 4’s main campaign did you? This isn’t Firefight Limited.

  1. For the No Easy Way Out achievement, you can get it even if one of the two generators are destroyed. I just got it and it only had one left.
  2. If you fail, you get a game complete XP and need to start the mission over.

Definitely glitchy then. I did this a few times with friends. 1st round I didn’t die but we lost 1 generator in the end. Didn’t get it. 2nd round I sacrificed myself to shield the generators and let my friends get it instead. Both generators were up, 1 friend died near the end and the other one didn’t. The 1 that did survive didn’t get the achievement still.
