Spartan Ops minor updates

I enjoy having new campaign based baddies to shoot (even if the missions arent canonical like promised, just the films per episode are), but I feel an update to certain mechanics would be appreciated.

First, weapons despawn WAY too darn fast. It serves as nothing but complete and utter frustration to have despawn times measured in mere seconds.

Second, and I dont know if this is just me, but I hate respawning like it is MM. If it is supposed to be canonical than why can we repeatedly throw our lives away to chip away at the enemy? As a solution I would just like the OPTION to toggle on checkpoints for a mission. I would rather repeatedly die within a checkpoint until I get it right, than die and: lose all my weapons, marines, vehicle and be left only with the option to continue throwing myself at the enemy until they finish dying.

Minor complaints, but they are also pretty minor to fix via update imo.

Any (constructive) thoughts?

I agree with you on this one, but considering the time spent actually doing these missions is so short even when playing solo. I don’t think checkpoints could of been added, because if they did they would practically be the start of the mission anyway. :slight_smile: Lol

I think everyone should get one life and no checkpoints. Then Spartan Ops would get real interesting on Legendary.
