Does anyone have a massive delay or lag in spartan ops matchmaking? I can’t really explain it, but when I do simple actions like push the joystick forward, I move like a second later, and stop a few seconds after I stop pushing on it. And when shooting my DMR, it only registers a few of the trigger clicks as well as an annoying delay.
This was also a problem with the matchmaking firefight in Reach… but I’m completely fine by myself.

It has gotten worse than last week.
It’s because you’re essentially playing campaign with people across the planet. The maps are larger, AI is involved, there’s a whole menagerie of things different from regular matchmade games that require transportation through the web.
It’s not helped by the fact that you can’t localize your connection preferences either. You’re better of grabbing a few bros who live nearby to you and going into SpOps matchmaking with them (in a group of 4 - if it’s permitted), or hope that the guy with the highest ping is eventually booted or quits the game.
Sadly, that never happens.
