It seems that spartan ops is now set to legendary difficulty in matchmaking. This makes me very happy! Crazy amounts of points for everyone!!!
Just wish there was an incentive to not die. Something simple like -150 points would be great.

Well since it is basically a coop campaign they should add checkpoints and maybe make it so you don’t respawn until your team meets the checkpoint.
Or just add lives.
-150 points would be absolutely disastrous.
Not because it’s a crap idea, but because being spawned in some UTTERLY HORRIBLE LOCATION in between five Promethean Scattershots is just instant death. Or spawning between four Hunters, eight Jackals, 6 Fuel Rod Elites and four Carbine Elites. Or, you know, the fun times you get when you spawn between 30 Promethean Puppies.

That would be challenging! Spartan ops would be significantly more difficult than campaign. I would try it but it would be nearly impossible solo

I completely understand what you mean, spawning in a safe zone or on a safe teammate would definitely be preferable. Sometimes it’s handy to get straight back into the action but more often than not you get a raw deal.
