Spartan ops last episode...

I got really disapointed by the ending where there was explosions in space? like comon everyone knows there is no sound in space… make it more realistic even if its a game

Realism in Halo?

Haha… ha… ha.

If halo had realism then Master Chief would have died at the end of halo 2, when he fell from the dreadnaught all the way to earth… and lived. Sometimes, you have to sacrifice realism for badassitude.

Because nothing says realistic like Orchestra music playing wherever you go. # Halologic

Well, that “explosion” is the sun going supernova.

And we may be able to hear it for a small time since Requiem was a giant ball of atmosphere. For a brief time when the shell ripped off, that sun was exposed to air.

And don’t expect realism in a sci-fi shooter 500 years in the future.
Especially on space topics, because we don’t know much for sure right now. Just theories and speculation from tests done around Earth.

You know whats funny about the last spartan ops missions? The hidden rocket lunchers and the AI. I also laughed as I played the last mission. You see the cut scene where the jackal stand in front of the Harvester and then something falls from the sky. While it falls you hear the sound of a siren but just the beginning of it so it just sound like a special fall sound for that falling object. I already want more spartan ops :frowning: hope they do some soooooooooooon!

Someone should really tell the S.E.T.I. program to stop listening to the stars since sound doesnt travel through space OP…

Fun fact- Did you know Radio broadcasts are sent through radio waves, and radio waves travel through space?

Realistically, the Infinity should have been vaporized within the millisecond of the sun going supernova. Because on an astronomical scale, that was an unrealistically small explosion. Even with the Infinity going into slipspace.

He used a piece of the dreadnought to survive re-entry and his suit’s gel-layer absorbed most of the impact. Do you even Halo 3 prologue?

Funner fact-radio signals are electromagnetic waves that can travel through nearly anything, including solid matter and hard vacuum. SETI doesn’t listen to radio emissions from stars (which produce the full spectrum of EM radiation), but monitors for radio signals from objects that are orbiting said stars.

Funnest fact-Sound waves are shock waves transmitted through a fluid (such as air) that can only be received when the vibrate a membranes they come in contact with, like your eardrum or a microphone. Sound and radio waves are totally unrelated, and the vacuum of space, there is no fluid to carry the sound wave. There’s more matter in a drop of water than in a cubic meter of outer space, there’s simply not enough atoms for one to bump into another and carry a sound to your ear.
