When I go to Spartan Ops, and try to find a game, it takes forever, on the setting up game screen, it keeps showing searching for players, on all the chapters of episode 2, while unsuccessfully finding a game.
There are around 3000 players playing the episode, with majority playing the 1st and the 5th. i have tried them all but no luck.
war games works just fine, pretty fast and neat, i have an 8 Mbit connection, my NAT type is open and there seems to be no problem other than the Spartan Ops online matchmaking, Also disk two is installed with no problem, and i also installed disk 1 to the hard drive as well as i do for most games i am currently playing on x360.
I have already played episode one by myself without any problem as well, but i want to join others on Live for the 2nd and other upcoming episodes.
Does this have to do with different regions? please anyone clarify / assist on this… it’s frustrating
personally i’ve never had trouble joining spartan ops and i think there’s a 30 second cap in which even if it hasn’t found 3 more people it’ll just go with however many it’s found
Is there a way to log on different servers? are servers regionally locked? cause the number i see is always around 3000 people. Is that what shows at your side as well?
Had the same problem with Gears of war 2 multiplier, took forever as well, but back then i had a closed NAT, now it’s open.

Im having the same exact problem and im unable to find matchmaking Spartan Ops groups. Wargames works perfect for me as well im pretty much on the same boat as the poster. Please can anyone let us know why this happens and how we can fix it?
