It sends me back to main menu when I want to play Episode 6 Chapter 1 (Escape Plan).Didn’t have problems with previous episodes,save maybe for the fact that it shows episodes as “unplayed” when I have obviously completed them and even have an achievement for that.
Are you on PC or Xbox? This sounds like something is corrupted. If you are on PC you should be able to validate your files, and redownload anything that may have been corrupted. If you are on Xbox you will probably have to uninstall Halo 4 and reinstall it.

Use Steam’s file validation tool. Hopefully it will find something amiss. The only time I’ve experienced a similar issue is when an update corrupts my checkpoints in the campaign.

Download the multiplayer portion of Halo 4. That should fix your issue. Later Spartan Ops missions use multiplayer assets.
Verifying game files only works for the Steam version of the game, not the Windows Store version.
