Regardless of the negative feedback about Spartan Ops I think its actually a great outlet of episodic content. As said in the Bulletin the story will get more intricate and I bet the best has yet to come of this season. Keep making Spartan Ops 343! Besides we get good credits from challenges from it! Although I reaaaally hope the environments are different in the next chapters…the current one’s are getting old…But you get the most credits in all of matchmaking from Spartan Ops online so I have no reason to complain!
What Sops is doing is great. Showing that a developer can put out weekly content for free (kind of) that drives the the universe forward…
However, the actual product being delivered is not that good…
The story is barley rating average on the “interestomiter” and the game play is no better (or worse) than what we would have had with Firefight.
They need to keep it up to set a trend, but they need to reach the bar that they set for themselves content wise…
Please extend my post that has dropped to page 5, the goal is to have one strong post for spartan ops that contends with the rants and issues people are having against it. Sorry to nag, but i don’t want to bump myself.

Pretty much this. Especially through the CGI cut scenes, the story I feel moves way too quickly for anyone to breathe. It’s kinda just one plot point after another. Nothing at really develops these characters.
If the CGI cut scenes are separate from the actual gameplay, they should make them as long as they need to. I don’t like the feeling of a rushed and uninteresting story.
Gameplay could mix things up, too.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Spartan Ops when I don’t feel like getting my butt handed to me in War Games, it’s fun with my friends, but I feel like it could be better. I want it to be better. I want Spartan Ops to be a success.
Being a Reach FF -Yoink!- myself, I love Spartan Ops…
With Double XP, I have been XP capping in 2-3 hours, and ranking up rather quickly.
The Comm’s are set at a reasonable level, and not to difficult to earn, as the AI helps you with them while driving them around as a single player, on those chapters, and Shot out on Valhalla, will easily cap you out for so many of the other Comm’s and specializations.
The only change I would make to it would be…being able to play any previous Episode in Find Game, as all of the first ten episodes are on the disc, and this can and could be easily implemented.
The population is always full of players and should send a clear message to 343 about FF…it is missed, and this new adaption makes people migrate to it far more than Reach’s FF.
I love Spartan Ops. Waiting each week is getting harder and harder.
Can’t wait for next weeks episode. Got a feeling it’s going to get more exciting with Jul 'Mdama on the run.
And I will finally be able to get the last few achievements for the game.

His name shouldn’t have been mentioned until a few chapters before you face him. I’m getting tired of hearing that he just got away, again, for the dozenth time.
I’m a fan of S-ops, it’s doing what it set out to do at a moderately decent rate, which realistically it’d be hard for it to achieve much more. My only two complaints would be:
A)that for once (and it pains me to say it) they are relying upon the book knowledge to fill in what are significant parts to the S-ops story. Jul’ Mdama plays such a HUGE role in the Kilo five trilogy that to just have him be a Zealot with a name as he’s portrayed in S-Ops kinda slaps anyone who’s not up to speed with the books the wrong way. ( though this could easily be expanded upon in the future episodes in more detail, so here’s to being wrong :] )
B) if I have to hear Palmer say “Egghead” one more time…
But honestly, I’d pay to see Dr.Halsey give her a typical snide remark about the use of a thesaurus or something…
