Spartan ops ideas

I was watching the spartan ops videos and was thinking about the possibility’s for missions they could do, and was wondering what other people had thought of.

This is what I’ve thought of.
I would like to see a mission were you have to infiltrate a covenant cruiser and kill a high prophet or something like that, and the ship be extremely explorable, and there be allot of possible ways to do the mission. You could go in quiet. I imagine me and one of my friends splitting up, him going in like a ninja, silently killing everything in his way while lurking down a dark hallway (the idea of being able to affect the power flow interest me allot, maybe to shut off lights and other electronics) while I charge through the ship attracting the attention of most of the ship, keeping them off him while he gets in to position to kill the prophet. Once he fires I meet back up with him and we head to a hangar and escape, leaving a mess of bodies in our wake.

Post ideas of missions you would like to play or comment on others ideas.

I certainly want more stealth missions for Spartan Ops, it would be good to see camo being used in a similar way to the story Headhunters. I would also like more missions which incorporate the Jet pack as it was barely used in the Reach campaign. Some Zero-G wouldn’t be bad either.

Just more variety! Halo still has plenty of potential.

Final thought: some more space missions (flying ships -or even booster packs?) would be nice too.

Hopefully they’ll have a story and purpose. Not just “blow up this” or “Kill this guy.”

Since S-Ops is technically replacing Firefight, one of the missions NEEDS to be an endless survival one (hopefully a good way to end the first season).

You shouldn’t really expect lots of exploration in those missions.

I mean, I would love that, but it’s quite clear that their goal is to make a mysterious campaign with lots of epic moments and lots of exploration moments.

For Spartan Ops, this is not really what they want to achieve. They are making small levels that you can play with your friends in just a few minutes.

The Spartan Ops missions are short and much more action-focused than the campaign.
It’s meant to be nervous.

No go as you are the spartan you create and can’t die in the story only to be “revive” after except if damn good explanation is given.

Did you just deny your self?

I was talking about the campaign, right there.
They are definitly bringing back exploration for campaign.

But my point is that it won’t really happen in Spartan Ops.
