You need an internet connection to play Spartan Ops alone? Whose bright idea was this because they need a slap to the back of the head. I think Ubisoft tried this with PC games and it came back to bite them in the -Yoink-. Well here is my complaint now. Please fix it so I can play Spartan Ops when my internet is down because it has to be the most ret@rded feture any game can have
The reason for that was if it was available offline, then they’d either have only ep 1 for the whole time or they’d have every ep. Not only that, but you get access to the maps through the internet. That’s how the episodic content works.

Reason why it needs internet connection, b/c you need XBL and u need to b a Gold Member to play.

Seriously though, I am peaved off about this too. At least in Reach you could just ramp up the difficulty and attempt to survive on Firefight with a silver account.
If it was offline, then people would fast track forward and play it all.
If you had to download it each week, MS Servers would get bottlenecked, and you would all complain.
Think before you complain. There is no other solution. You want something to ease your cold symptoms, but you complain when it tastes like -Yoink-.
