I’m not usually one to complain when it comes to rare occurrences of griefing, but when I play five matches in a row where it happens, I feel I must say something.
I love that Spartan Ops has no friendly fire in terms of being able to kill your teammates by directly shooting/grenading them, but it’d be nice if the same was done for vehicle friendly fire. As I’ve already mentioned, I’ve just finished playing five matches of Spartan Ops, and each time I get in a wraith, my teammates feel the urge to destroy it. I’d understand if I was playing like a selfish jerk, taking all the kills and purposely splattering my teammates, but I don’t play that way. I allow my teammates to get their fair share of kills, and I tend to maneuver around them, so as to not accidentally kill them. I usually go for the tougher enemies anyway like Hunters, Fuel Rod Elites, and Wraiths/Ghosts. And even then, I still let my teammates kill those enemies as well.
Why are other people allowed to ruin my gameplay experience, yet I’m not allowed to do anything about it? It’s bad enough that matchmaking Spartan Ops is sometimes a lagfest, but teammates who purposely destroy your vehicles makes it even worse, and not very enjoyable.
I know I’m not the first to suggest this, and I know nothing will be done about it, but 343 should really take all forms of friendly fire out of Spartan Ops. It serves absolutely no purpose other than to give people the free ability to grief others without the consequence of being booted from the game.
So, you know my stance on the subject. Do any of you feel the same/different? Share your thoughts and/or experiences on teammates destroying your vehicles.
My favourite was shelling the mantises on Shootout in Valhalla
Yeah that sounds like a good step. It’s either that, or allow friendly fire so that one could boot those who betray/grief. Whatever works I guess.
Play it on Monday Only. Less likely to run into this nonsense.

Sadly I only really have time to play on weekends. Work takes up much of my time during the week.

I don’t know then I feel sorry for you and what you got put through. Spartan Ops is totally ruined by this community in large. It’s shame that we have to look at 343 and say put in punishment in a game. I would just leave and keep looking till you find a good group they exist also in the Spartan Op pops.
When a game is this boring and they have nothing else to play because they just spent their weekly/monthly extra, what do you expect? Go back to a game they already spent 500+ hours in?
It takes 8 hours to get 58$ at 7.25(Minimum Wage in South Louisiana… Good luck trying to find a job that even THINKS of paying more…) an hour and games cost 59.99 + Taxes… 65$! 9 hours of WORK to get this game… 1 full day and 1 hour in another. When you’re living paycheck to paycheck, you’ll understand.
Living with your parents and saying you already have a job doesn’t count as living paycheck to paycheck.

I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about. I never said I lived with my parents, nor do I live paycheck to paycheck. Please try to stay on topic if you’re going to post.
