Who else agrees with me i don’t get it why people dislike it.
Halo’s story always consumed me in it.
And now with spartan ops we get to see more story.
awesome story cutscenes
i like fighting the hunters in episode 3 wish there were like 6 or even 8 hunters at once cuz they are my favorite enemy to fight. I always fight hunters hand to hand cuz it’s just fun.
Anyone else thinks spartan ops is getting better and better ?
I don’t think it was very well thought out for the most part. Yes the ending chapters of the episodes add plot turns but the first 4 (add a little back story) are just fillers for a over hyped thing. Notice how you get about 2-3 thousand offline and even more online. I believe there are two main reasons for its creation:
Add a little story to the mix
So new players can boost and have a chance
eg. My first game (BTB) I got 20+ kills because of so many low levels. I was like SR10 and had my trusty DMR.
Maybe when the series ends but I haven’t found much of a significance considering the hype, however. (10 year old excited voice) they added Ragnarok which is good to spice things up.

100% agree.
Kudos for 343i for this value-added.
I actually feel that the story is moving with canon events.
It was amazing when I first played through all the chapters. The third mission was my favorite. Crimson and other Spartan IV’s battling all these Elites and Hunters, so much fun.
I enjoy Spartan Ops WAY MORE than firefight! And also looking at all the episodes and everything they are able to do. It makes me hopeful because after all of this and Forward Unto Dawn, I am confident they could make an awesome Halo movie or TV series with this, given how gifted 343’s writers have proven to be. I do not know about anyone else, but I actually want Halo 5 to have a long campaign! All this fiction in the Halo Universe just gives them so much room to work with!
I am really enjoying the CG scenes and the overall story arc. Loved how Halsey had a disdain for the newer Spartans. I feel as though this is something Halsey would feel. I also like the way the missions were set up this week.
However, I would like better dialogue while in a mission. Some of the lines don’t really flow that well. For example I think it was Miller who said “That’s not fair” ,in a childlike way, as I took a hill and Covenant reinforcements landed. This is something that stood out like a sore thumb to me.
Again, the CG stuff is much better. I just hope they begin to treat the in game dialogue with the same care.

Halo 5 is on the next gen Xbox so campaign should be Much longer/larger.
So i hope more story by then cuz i don’t believe halo’s darkest story could be 8 missions long they need more then that.
I sincerely dislike the fact that 343i seems to think difficulty is decided by how many Fuel Rod guns/Beam Rifles the convenant get to have. Legendary on Spartan Ops is kind of rubbish in the way that the only reason it is actually hard is because a large number of the enemies can literally obliterate a hillside with nades/fuel rod/ect.
Aside from that I enjoy Spartan Ops immensely and look forward to more. it’d be nice if 343i toned down the insta-gib crap though.
