Has 343 said what they are going to do now that this season is over? Are they going to recycle the past episodes? Or are they just going to leave the current episode up? Ideally I would like to see them make changes so that Legendary would show up instead of heroic in the cooperative playlist

No season 2 is still being considered. Season 1 is going on for a break and will be back next year.
