Has anyone else gotten frustrated by the first mission of Spartan Ops Ep.3 on Legendary Solo?
The only way you can make it through is with Ordnance weapons. But when you inevitably die by the collective effort of 3 wraiths and a horde of Elites, you get trapped because you can’t recover weapons, can’t run out in the open to pick up new Ordnance, and can’t take out 3 OP wraiths and Fuel Rod-spamming Elites without Ordnance weapons. So when you inevitably die and lose your power weapons, you get stuck in a trap that takes excessive deaths and gradual disposal of Ordnance and tanks (blown up by 1 wraith cannon) to get out of.
I’m not really complaining since Legendary Solo is a whole other difficulty than Legendary Co-op and its supposed to be hard, i’m just pointing out that the main reason it’s so hard is because you can’t recover weapons (due to both weapon disappearance and A.I. sometimes), not because of the A.I. themselves. Didn’t think Spartan Ops could make me rage until now lol.
I’m actually hesitant to pick up that Incineration Cannon or UNSC Ordnance because i won’t get it back if i die, or should i say WHEN i die.
