I am guessing this is the final episode of Spartan Ops Season One.
343 Industries have said they will decide if they are making a new season of Spartan Ops based of the popularity of S1 Episodes 6-10. So do you think this Season will end with everything having cleared up and the Infinity all fine and happy or will there be some stories left for now?
Major cliffhanger for sure
I’m guessing infinity will break free of Requim, happy ending and then the crew will get their next assighment from Admeral Ozmen to go and fight the Storm and Prometheans on a new planet like Sanghelios or Kholos.
I seen a cliffhanger for Spartan Ops happening before the game even released… It’s obvious that anything revolving Halo will have some cliffhanger to keep people excited. I just want some closure to Spops… Please 343, don’t leave me hangin…
I also hope that their isn’t an Episode 2. As much as I enjoy getting new Spartan Ops every week I think time could be well spent in other parts of the game. Free multiplayer maps would be nice. Maybe a new big forge environment…

They won’t abandon the main focus of the game’s story. There’s still so much potential for Requiem, it’d be a massive shame to let it go after such a short time.

The Librarian did say Requiem’s time has come to end and then gave the keys to Halsey basically telling her to look for other Forerunner artefacts around the universe.
I’m looking forward to Season 2. I like Spartan Ops and the way it’s progressing the story in between games. Hopefully other developers take notice and follow suit with other titles.

Plus, pictures released by OXM reveal that Jul had put Requiem (and consequently Infinity) on a collision course with the nearby sun.
