Anyways, I was honestly just sitting here thinking what the hell could possibly happen next. Things are finally starting to move somewhere. Good.
Glad to see Spartan Ops finally hitting its potential.
Wow the Invasion of Infinity is happening far sooner than I thought.

Makes you wonder what’s in store for the last few episodes. Hard to believe season 1 will be over next month.
I just re-watched it on the Xbox and it almost looked like Lasky was fighting as well. During the part where it flashes through random fighting it appears he is blowing a Knight or Elite away with a Shotgun.
Edit: Re-watched it again and it’s definitely Lasky owning a Knight with a Shotgun.
Edit 2: There is a shot of Halsey lying on the ground with a Knight standing over her. Lasky with Shotgun and Marine with Assault Rifle are next to her. It would appear Lasky has picked up the Shotgun from another dead Marine behind him.

Indeed. Good to see his training at Corbulo wasn’t a waste.
I’m thinking Halsey finds out about John and that the Librarian did something to him. She might then disable Roland and contact Jul using Infinity’s systems, agreeing to help him find the Librarian. Just then Marines burst in and being her to Lasky. Just as he confronts her Promethean Knights teleport on board using the artifact (notice how the first time we see them is in the same room), and secure Halsey since they’re very close to the artifact. Jul then continues the invasion to keep Infinity distracted and prevent anyone from attempting a major rescue mission.

Halsey talking to Jul about finding the Librarian? My first instinct was to say “Aiding the enemy? Execute her with extreme prejudice.”
But then I remembered that Halsey is a slippery and manipulative one who almost always had an ulterior motive…she IS treading on thin ice however. I have no sympathy for traitors regardless of their past contributions to humanity.

From what we can see, Lasky was coming from the artifact room, and the hallway he confronts Halsey in is literally just outside it, as everything in that hallway matches. Halsey is also seen looking up information on Jul, so we can probably assume that she uses that information and probably the engines to contact him.

So Halsey could be the traitor after all. She may be using him to reach the Librarian, as she states at the end of the teaser.

I dunno about that. It seems like Jul says “What do you want?”, to which Halsey replies “The same thing we both want; the Librarian.”
Not to mention, Roland looks disabled which might be Halsey’s doing.

The way I see it: Infinity is attacked by Prometheans. With the help of the artifact on the Infinity, the ship is crippled, Roland disabled, allowing Jul to contact Halsey (seeing as the Prometheans are Covenant are working together).
And of course, if Halsey is willing to work with the Covenant, there’s an ulterior motive at work (as others have mentioned). Though, it technically doesn’t matter.

She already is, but she’s going to be in much hotter water now.
