My whole team got stuck in the big structure with blue shields at the end of chapter one, with no way out, forcing us to sit there and watch our friendly Pelican get slaughtered to end the mission (and thus forcing us to restart).
And while playing chapter five, one of what I presumed was the last enemies (a knight with a binary rifle) gut stuck behind a door, with no way for us to take him out and finish the level. Once again, forcing us to restart.
Seriously, did you guys even playtest these things before release?

Didn’t even know that first glitch was possible. As for the Binary rifle Knight in chapter 5, haven’t had that happen to me so far. Then again, I always target him first because I have very bad luck against anything wielding a Binary Rifle in SpOps. From what I’ve seen on my own and read from other people, targeting him first instead of the Covies is the best way to keep that glitch from happening.

No kidding. In episode 7 chapter 1, I had enemies despawning as soon as they were killed, Ghosts despawning as soon as their driver was killed, and once I killed the Wraith and the wreckage immediately despawned… as I was trying to use it for cover. Oh, and on one run the Wraith never spawned - not sure if that’s the way the script runs or if it was a bug.
Speaking of which, has anyone noticed that shielded enemies seemingly become invincible during their recoil animations after you pop their shields? I get it particularly with Promethean Knights. I pop their shields, and dump 3-4 DMR shots into their face while they’re recoiling (red reticle, over the head, and I get hit indicators around my reticle), and they just eat the bullets until they stand back upright, and then I can shoot them once more in the head and they die. Elites do it as well occasionally. That can’t be working as intended.
Bugs have been 343i’s trademark so far. I’ve owned an Xbox and a 360 since both were released, and in all that time I’ve only had 3 games/apps lock up my console due to a software bug - Halo: Anniversary, Halo Waypoint, and Halo 4 - all 343i products.
> Well, at least now we know that it is possible to lose in SpOps.
Finally. I’ve been craving some sort of actual difficulty in Spartan Ops, rather than just death flopping my way to victory. It actually took me 3 tries on solo Legendary to keep Marine Murphy from getting his Phantom shot out of the sky. There have been “defend” assets in previous episodes, but they were either laughably easy to guard, the enemies ignored them entirely (Murphy in Ep.6 Ch.1 as he’s hacking the Phantom), or else their loss didn’t end the mission.
What 343i doesn’t get is that removing difficulty doesn’t improve the game, it just makes it a treadmill. It’s much more fun when you can actually lose.
Can’t remember which mission it was with these latest additions, but It was where the hall splits two ways to form a kind of square round-about and there is a hunter & Jackal on each side with a bunch of crawlers. Was crouch walking to try and sneak up on a hunter and backed around a wall and found myself nudged under some overhang with two bits of computer on either side of me. Was not forced into the crevice, just unknowingly backed into it, but ended up stuck, with no grenades to kill myself to get out. Tried using all my ammunition to get the hunter’s attention so it would finish me off, but they didn’t come to my rescue. Had to restart the mission over.
