I really liked episode 5. Things got alot more interesting this time around. There were missions were had to defend certain Objectives like in that one mission where we had to defend two generators which reminded me alot of the Firefight game mode Generator Defence. And i liked the Last chapter of this episode where it has another Redvsblue easter egg and this time it only has a Redvsblue talk(Which is Sarge btw) but it seems to change the ordnance drop as well. Where we get Sports equipment aka “Gravity Hammers”. And i like how this episode ends at a Cliffhanger. Instead of going back to infinity our ride gets destroyed and we get Surrounded by the Covenant.
-Oh noes Crimson Team gets Surround by the Covenant how will Crimson Team get out of this one.?
-Will the Elites/Strom Covenant finally found what they’re looking for?
-Have our heroes figured out how this Artefact works?
-Why is Halsey Communicating with an Elite within the Storm Covenant ranks?
-And where is Spartan Throne what has happened to him?
-And how will Sarge and his Red team be able to play Grifball without thier Sports equipment(AKA Gravity Hammers) which has been dropped thanks to Grif.
All the answers(Well most of them) Will be revealed in the next episode of “Halo:Infinity” only on Spartan Ops.
So anyways what are your thoughts of this recent epsiode guys?
I only get excited for the Insane looking cutscene before the missions. Other than that, just feels like something that iv been doing for 10 years, but with out Grunt’s Birthday party
Yeah this episode was interesting although these spartans have no respect for each other and their officers “We work as a team. No more lone wolf stuff.”-Carter You had Thorne run off twice (although once he did the right thing) but the second time he got himself in trouble by poking at the alien tech. Facepalm.
The regurgitating of the same map spaces is annoying. I know they’ll probably bring new spaces in future episodes/series, but its still a niggle. Fighting in the same spaces/areas is getting a bit repetitive despite attempts to mix up the gameplay. I find myself just looking forward to the opening cutscene
I don’t see what’s so creative about that, unless you are implying that user is disguising some other word but I would rather assume you merely find that users vocabulary impressively creative for using words which aren’t typically seen around videogame forums, particularly these forums.
The defending gimmick brings something new to this episode and I was pleasantly surprised to have warthogs on the Cauldron. I’m curious whether Crimson will be saved somehow or whether it’s truly the end for them and we’ll start playing under the role of another team (I think there was talk about Spartan Ops following three teams before Halo 4’s release, we’ve been Crimson, seen Majestic so… Castle?).
Well I do find myself looking forward to the CGI cutscenes (looking so good!) and the Red vs Blue Easter eggs are awesome.
I do like how the missions are getting more and more packed with baddies, the mission Spartan Miller was the best one yet in my opinion. Heh, I just grab a shotgun and a scattershot and let lose and hail of pellets or I grab the mounted guns and pour down bullets from the cliff. I can’t stop playing it when I’m raging from some noobs in matchmakin, these missions just help me vent.
I think that more wave like missions and some more vehicle missions would really make these Spartan Ops lots of fun.

I didn’t mean THAT… just thought it was a funny sounding made up word.
Episode 5 was weird. They give us vehicles right off the back on a smallish area, Cauldron, but not on a large map like Quarry. No, the Warthogs are at the very end and back of the map. The story doesn’t get much better, oh look scientists in danger AGAIN.
Really the only redeeming factor is the CGI cutscene and the story it brings to the table.
