Spartan Ops: Episode 5 Thooughts & Comments

I loved episode 5 of Spartan Ops. Once again, it was packed with action and huge waves of enemies coming at you over and over again. I loved the beginning video and the last scene keeps me wondering and wanting more. What did you guys think? Did you enjoy episode 5? What are your thoughts & comments?

It was my favorite week so far slightly beating week 3. I liked how the objectives were about defending and not just hitting buttons.

I loved it. Me and my friend had completely predicted the ending. Our predictioins were actually 90% spot on.

talk about a midseason finale!
I’m excited that they’ll most likely use new spaces! Where else would the covies take them?

I enjoyed episode 3 a lot too, but I think this beat it

I really didn’t enjoy this week. Neither did I enjoy last week…

It seems to me like everyone was complaining so much that Spartan Ops isn’t enough like Firefight, and suddenly Spartan Ops has become “How many waves of enemies can we throw at the player before he gets sick of it and quits?”

Episode 5 was just epic. Wave upon wave, suspense…I just can’t get enough. Everything has been leading to something to happen with Thorne, now what do the covies have in mind for him? Better yet WHY is Jul 'Mdama talking with Dr. Halsey? Questions…

Great cliffhanger. Storywise, Episode 5 was great!

omg it was SO amazing i mean rehashed campaign multiplayer maps with just alot of emenies WOW They really know how to Please us!.

I don’t know how i feel about Thorne being built up as “Chief-like” when really, I can’t see that at all. My favorite Spartan IV is still Palmer. However, it will still be intersting to see…

  • why Jul helped Halsey find the Promethean soul.

  • What that “Artifact” (aka pretty table) is.

  • Who the forerunner they want to find is, or what it’ll do.

  • Where the Didact is, because I’m pretty sure he’s still alive.

  • and what the rest of the human and elite forces will do about requiem if infinity needs help (S II, S III, and Arbiter anyone?)

… I disliked all the binary and jackal sniper units, but the story EASILY destroyed all expectations. Now, to wait another week and hopefully Thorne is enjoying his vacation off infinity…

Playing with my buddy and waiting for the pelican. Im like this is the mid season finale there going to do something crazy like blow up the pelican jokingly of course. White screen. “HOW DID YOU CALL THAT?” And I was then dumbstruck. The way I see it is either infinity drops some fire power or crimson gets captured, or possibly all die and we play as another team. Thorne has probly been turned into a knight or we’ll meet him as we are captured.

That damn Halo 2 ending annoyed me, now I can’t wait for the next one

For such an intriguing story, it’s a shame the gameplay is so poor. Level layout and more waves, more waves, more waves…it’s a change from more buttons, more buttons, more buttons, but come on. It’s really boring. Really, really boring.

Remember that mission (I think, #3) in this episode, where the other Spartan team infiltrated the Covvie Crusier and destroyed it from within? That idea was more exciting, gameplay wise, than this whole episode.

I enjoyed this very much. But I do have a question. Just after the pelican gets blown the hell up, I noticed a new aircraft/space craft hovering just out
of weapons range. Was wondering could it be a promethean ship?.
