Congrats ,343i, on another fantastic episode of Spartan Ops. I enjoyed episode 4. I was hoping for more vehicle based missions like episode 3 with the Mantis, but what I liked about this episode was the massive wave after wave of enemies attacking you. They put up one hell of a fight. Your thoughts?
I agree with what you said, the Warthogs on Episode 3 were a nice touch though. I’m fine with revisiting locations, but there should at least be more evidence that the UNSC was here before.
It was a pain trying to do some of those mission on solo legendary. I believe it was mission 1 in that chapter with like 6 Promethean knights with scattershots 1 shotting me, then when i got their shields down, they would port to the top… -.-
I really enjoy these spartan ops episodes though, but they should have some more maps, instead of repeating the same ones.

Yeah, I’m sure they will add new maps soon though
I wish there were actually new missions.
I wonder how Jul 'Mdama survived that Orbital Strike…
I really enjoyed it. Plenty of Firefight. While all the locations were the same, the engagements were all new. Having the Hogs on Chapter 2 was fun. The beginning of Chapter 3 was unexpected but awesome.
Spartan Ops is really kicking off now. The first two episodes were nice, but overall nothing special. But now, they’re getting really good. Definitely going to play these Chapters multiple times.

It’s ok. Playable.
But if I wanted to play Firefight, I’d pop in Reach. I liked the first two episodes better- in those missions, you felt as though you were making progress toward something as you pushed through enemy lines. Now, it just feels like you’re running back and forth as enemies rain down on you… probably because that’s exactly what’s happening.
I’m wondering if there’s a set number of Crawlers that spawn with each Knight, because there are an absurd number of both in mission 2.

Well I’ve enjoyed all the spartan ops so far. This episode felt like a bit of an easing off after episode 3…
The two Valhalla/Ragnarok chapters were intense.
Just out of interest can anyone tell me what you are meant to do to get the “what power outage”? I’ve played the chapter on heroic, and as far as I know I didn’t lose the generator. Is there more than one off switch that needs hitting?

I loved this episode just like I did with episode 3, they both seemed very story driven. I’m glad spartan ops is finally picking up in terms of story.

I still feel like Episode 3 is the best so far, but Episode 4 was definitely not a let down. I enjoyed playing it

Glassman wasn’t with him, he was back at the artifact.

The warthogs were a nice touch (teamming up on the same vehicle is better than giving everyone a tank/ghost/banshee).
But please, add way more Crawler Snipers in the next episodes. I haven’t seen more than 10 of those in the same chapter.

In a thread in the halo universe forum, some people speculated that it was faber, the librarian, or cortana.
Idk why no one suspected it could be the elites and glassphag. Makes me think there was something obvious that I missed if I think that.
