Was fantastic. I really like how this episode played out, lots of action and it was so bad Yoink! seeing all those banshees and phantoms coming from that covenant cruiser… Keep up the good work David Ellis and tell your team i said thanks!

It was in the Campaign when you destroyed the Linch. Even more under-par animation to a game which sequels Halo 3 and the Scarab destruction animation. But if YOU think this is great then 343i can safely cater to infants and to those who don’t notice the details that count.
And I find yellow easier to read then the white on black font. But you guys shouldn’t be noticing this type of detail lol.

The scarab destruction animation that was reused how many times exactly?

> No, really. I forgot.
It wasn’t reused. It’s how the Scarab blows up. And it repeated 4 times in Halo 3. And a different animation in Reach when Carter rammed it with the Pelican.
It blew up like something out of GTA on the PC. The Linch was the size of a Scarab, NO ONE saw that explosion from orbit. And again, the Cruiser was a massive ship and it just fell apart like something from Halo wars. Remember when the Frigate Grafton (end of the tip of the Spear level) got destroyed? The screen shook, light elevated to a high level and you felt the mass of the ship as it exploded. These are the details which made Halo 3’s campaign re-playable. You could take that example of Mass Effects Harvester. All released before Halo 4 but all surpassing it by far.
I don’t want to complain but I bought Bungie games for the detail. I see no evidence in Halo 4.

Hey, I noticed that too.
Don’t forget about H2 High Charity and H3 Tsavo Highway. Both of these levels had similar events.
If you exit Shootout (possible with a Banshee) and try to fly towards the Cruiser, you’ll eventually hit a death barrier. Compare that to the tricking seen in HR. The cruisers were completely solid while the ones in Halo 4 campaign are non-solid.
