This mission is probably the best mission I have ever played in Spartan Ops.
The only problem I had was in one game of this mission with specific people.
If only 343 would allow you to go through theater in Spartan Ops…
The problem: Two people were seemingly AFKing and, once the Mantis’ dropped, these two “AFKers” had plasma pistols and kept EMPing me and the other guy. After a number of deaths from Banshees and various infantry, I just stopped getting into a Mantis and ran away. I watched from a distance as the two kept EMPing the other guy while Banshees were destroying him.
After awhile the kid left.
I stayed in the game and just watched these guys complete the mission. One in a Mantis while the other guy was waiting to EMP me once I get into a Mantis.
Here is the match if you guys want to look even though it won’t have much proof on what they did.
EDIT: The two guys were already in Specializations.
Judging by the fact that it usually always has over one and a half thousand players or more, usually 4k during the day. Yeah its pretty popular, mostly because it’s the easiest and fastest one to play. At the same time, you can rank up Banshee commendations and hunter commendations really easily on it as well. About to hit Master for Hunters, already did for Banshees.
I like it as well it is the most popular Spartan Ops chapter because of the map and Mantis. 343 did a great job on bringing Multiplayer maps into Spartan Ops I like to see more maps from mp brought in here.
However onto your topic. Just be glad you didn’t get splattered over 6 times like I did. A few days ago on Hacksaw, a specialization dude ran me over with a Ghost 6 times in the game and the Hacksaw guys died too cause he splattered them all. I’m surprised they didn’t turn on everyone yet. I was on foot too and I did watch out however he was just being an -Yoink- as like most people who like to betray for no reason. Difference is War Games they have boot option while Spartan Ops doesn’t. So those who love to betray people for no reason will go to Spartan Ops and do this sort of thing. 343 needs to fix this and let friendly fire be on in Spartan Ops. One thing I really hate in Halo games other than AFKers is betrayers. AFKers are nothing if they don’t wanna play, more credits and kills for us and their choice if they get in trouble.

Ruining other people’s games in order for selfish gain…
This mission is also the most popular for people to AFK in and just sit in the back and do nothing. Usually results in a ban but I’ve only encountered a few like them.
The biggest problem I have with this missions is people intentionally destroying other people’s Mantis. I don’t care if everyone just goes free-for-all rumble once you’ve beaten the mission but if they are trying to still kill banshees or other Storm units then it’s just annoying.

How is that ruining other people’s game? I’m playing, I’m covering other people, I’m making sure everyone is playing and just enjoying the game.

Yeah a very bad ouch the guy in his Ghost. He kept getting them from the enemy as well so everytime I saw him I destroy the Ghost by emping it seeing how mad I was. If booting option wasn’t off on Spartan Ops I would’ve booted him. Reach had booting options before they did that Halo 4 should have it however. If they want to crack down on betrayers on Halo 4 they should turn booting option on in Spartan Ops as well. 
I like to have fun as well but betrayers love to do this alot regardless of rank. Btw the guy was a higher rank than me too.

Trying to get the other guys to quit in order to complete their commendations.

I concur, if only there was a booting system for Spartan Ops. 343 should even have theaters for Spartan Ops as well so that we have proof on what people did.
i had two guys do kindof he same thing but they kept blowing up my mantis from their mantses

Alas however we don’t have theater yet for Campagin nor Spartan Ops yet which gets me frustrated. I know alot of people on the fourms here are wondering when we’ll get Halo 4 File Share on Waypoint to post our screenshots and videos up on the internet sadly though we don’t know when. I heard from someone not till next month on the next update we can only wait till then if that is true. I just hope we get this new update soon so we can get those two up on the site. They should’ve done this before Halo 4 came out

To be honest, I wouldn’t have minded waiting longer just for certain features to be implemented into the game.
