I have no -Yoinking!- idea how Humanity is going to defend itself now, we have no allies and we seem to have the whole effing Galaxy against us. Will the Precursors themselves come to help us now? How are we going to advance enough to fight the Forerunners and this Storm Covenant and their new found technology?? It all seems very negative, but definitely lays down the ground work for a great new story to tell. In Halo 5 I want to see an entirely new Humanity with totally new classes and a new visual futuristic look, apart from the Star-ships. Every Human should be at Spartan level if we’re going to survive this kind of war and we need to physically, mentally and technologically get a lot larger and stronger.

Halo 5 will be a fantastic game if 343 utilize what they’ve got properly, I really want them to think outside the box for Halo 5. Everything should look much better and the Human race should become much more technologically advanced,weapons, vehicles and all. What do you guys think?

First, I want to know the Storm Covenant’s “new found technology” you are talking about…Jul only has half of the Janus Key and, therefore, cannot access the map containing the location of Forerunner technology.

Second, Humanity, if anything, has grown stronger and progressed technologically. Just look at UNSC Infinity and its combat capabilities as well as Slipspace precision. Humanity has come a long way. Not to mention that Spartans are now in “mass production” in a sense (even though we can’t really compare Spartan IV’s with Chief and friends, they are still much superior to regular troops).

The only new threat I can see personally is the potential of Dr. Halsey aiding the Storm Covenant against the UNSC. Even that is an unlikely theory considering that her quarrel is with Oni (Osman) and not humanity as a whole.
