Spartan Ops Epilogue Cutscene Is Absent

It’s not in the game. Why?

The cutscenes from Episode 1 through 10 are in the game, but I had to go to YouTube to watch the epilogue after completing Spartan Ops (I was going through solo Legendary, and hadn’t seen the ending in a few years). It’s probably not going to be watched by many but that’s besides the point. It’s part of Spartan Ops, so should be in the game.

To be fair, Spartan-Ops is the black-sheep of 343 Industries.
They had to cancel Seasons 2 and 3 from development and convert it into comic book form, now taking up the majority of Halo Escalations’ contents.

I wouldn’t put it past 343 to neglect this aspect of Halo that was both poorly executed and wasn’t well received.

This as well as Halo CE’s epilogue are both missing. Have your submitted a ticket for this on Halo Support?

Why is that to be fair?
Should still be in the game…

I’m just saying that it would be a fair statement to say that 343 is neglecting their Black Sheep.

That is what the phrase “To be fair” means, it is a shortened version of “To make a statement that is fair because it is true,”

Likely just an oversight.

Spartan Ops was a nice edition to H4 story an It would be cool if some missions would have showed up in the Playlist section of MCC especially the cross game playlists. . It doesn’t add to your total stats for enemies downed. Those missions played well with a squad I felt they were designed for it.

Yeah, to an extent. The respawns typically just make it a matter of time for completion, rather than getting stuck and having to restart – as with the Campaigns.

Episode 5 Chapter 1 is the one I struggled with most, because you can actually fail it due to having to defend two objectives against swarms of Crawlers, Knights, and Watchers. Took a couple of attempts on Legendary.

Sounds quite difficult to solo SP ops. Now that I beat Infinite I’ll be playing through the rest of the Campania including Spartan Ops. Im glad there are some achievements for it.

Pffttt…I’m not sure where I can search it up, honestly. I’d guess at least 20 minutes per chapter, so about an hour and a half per episode, and then that’d make it 15 hours overall. Definitely not speedy, but I had to repeat several chapters, as they weren’t recorded for the achievement. So, that added 2 hours to however long it took me.

As for Spartan Miller, I think completing Regret (Halo 2) on Legendary was tougher. The unlimited Rocket Launcher ammo just meant it was a matter of timing with the spawns. Regret, on the other hand, gives you a lot of threats to manage at once, while having to attack Regret some 7 times or whatever. Honestly didn’t find Gravemind (Halo 2) too bad, as I managed to keep 3 marines alive until the end of the level. Two Betrayals (Halo: CE) was a pain. Arcadia City (Halo Wars) was hard to get Gold on, but it isn’t an FPS…

Arcadia city forces you to split your attention an forces into multiple areas… it was difficult at first … found the Package on Reach was a well made level too.

Honestly, I just focused on the middle transport. If the other two get destroyed quickly, the civilians just go to the middle one, and they’re much easier to defend. I tried to do middle and right, but found that right would get destroyed really close to the end, and I’d lose all the civilians. I like that though. Legendary forced me to make the tough call, because I couldn’t save all of them. It felt better in terms of the story.
