Spartan Ops enemy counts

While I played through Spartan Ops, I noted the number of enemies on each level. These values are for Normal and may vary depending on the playthrough/if you let Watchers spawn Crawlers etc. Happy farming.

Thank you for this. Why is there so few Knight Commanders? -_- Best part is I’m fairly sure you need MORE of them than Knight Battlewagons. Same with Crawler Prime vs normal Crawler. Silly 343

12 Hunters? Meh, that doesn’t even surpass Assault on the Control Room’s total: 16

As for Zealots, 16 of them?! OMFG YES!

Thanks for this op!! I know very few people who take the time for this kind of thing.

Tell me, are there any encounters where you don’t have to kill enemies for more to spawn? The campaign is noticeably devoid of freeroaming enemies. I’d really love compensation, especially given the enemy numbers. Do the Zealots occur all at once (knowing 343, they probably have thrown balancing out the window)? Because it’d at least make playing on Easy worthwhile.

There could be up to 10 Zealots at one time in CE (on T&R). Let’s see if Halo 4 can surpass that.

Yeah keep this thread going, very helpfull.

Wow…I usually just keep track of which level has more of, but this is really nice! Love the color variation!

Thank you! Will definitely use this!(and share it as well <3)

Definitely this. I have Crawler Prime Mastered, but Normal Crawler is on Adept. Silly 343i indeed.

Anyways, thanks OP for this! I don’t farm (hate the idea), but it’s nice to know how many I’m killing in each mission I’m playing so I know how good I’m doing with the Commendations in the missions. And I do need that Promethean Slayer Mastery.

Same here with the Crawler commendations. I’m about 21% through Forerunner Destroyer, as I really want that Vanguard armor. I’m closer to the Covenant Destroyer one, but it is very lackluster imo. A slightly different version of the already stupid Orbital set? No thanks.

best op for jackal major is chapter 4 episode 3 Random Transport. On easy it has 17 jackal majors and can be done in about 10 minutes tops

Even in Campaign, there is only a handful of Commanders. I thought Battlewagons were the rare Knights? The last line of defense? The way 343 describes them as the “strongest” Knight class but is more common than the Commander (who is arguably just as deadly, if not more).

Thanks

Cruddy Elite Rangers. I didn’t realize they were classified as Zealots…

And the Battlewagon spam is just wrong.

Spartan Ops is a joke. No major differences on higher difficulties.

OP are you going to update this? Because this has been very helpful.

Please update OP if you can, this is perfect!
By the way, can you do commendations on easy?

please do update soon.

and yes, commendations can be done on any difficulty

Hugely helpful. Thanks for putting this together.

Thanks OP!

anyone know if you can get the challenge 200 kills with precision loadoout weapon in spartan ops?

i highly doubt it, most likely its a MM challenge

Thanks a bunch for posting this :stuck_out_tongue:

i can tell you with “Shootout In Valhalla” if you turn on the turrets straight away you will get less enemies then if you turned one at a time and waited till the very last enemy in that wave before turning on the next one
