Why do we have to download the spartan ops epi 6? I’ve been waiting for 6+ hours and its only at 19%. Thats crap right there.

Hmm, have you tried enabling background downloads?
That way you can turn off your 360 but it’ll continue downloading, it’s sometimes faster that way.
You really need a more reliable internet speed. I downloaded it in about 10 minutes with a wired 35 MBPS connection. My friend has an even SLOWER connection AND he was on Wi-Fi and it took him about 20 minutes.

These missions weren’t on disc, so you need to download them.
That’s unfortunate it’s been downloading that long and only at 19%, though. 
I’d suggest cancelling and redownloading it. If you want to play a game while it downloads, single player games without XBL support help pass the time.
As John Henry Eden suggested, background download will help as well.

Going on maybe 15 minutes so far. Kept somehow getting disconnected from live and having to click download again. Yet, havent been dced yet while playing.
Seems to be moving steadily when i have to restart it though.

Cancel and redownload. This happens to me sometimes in different games. Always clears it up.
Takes up more space than a Battle Field 3 update.
I’m at 70% after 20 or so minutes, and thats only with 10mb connection.9% at 4 hours sounds like dial-up and thats why.If you have more than 1mb connection you should have atleast 30% in 30 minutes, id suggest reset your modem take the shirt off of it , and pick it up off the floor.
My net was being Assinined… went to download it, -Yoinks!- were like fixing it morning or something, so it shut off, so went to re-download it, did it again, lol… all in all took about 2-3 hrs with that process…
I feel you, AppallingRain, I started downloading the frikkin’ thing and after an hour and change it was to 12%. I didn’t feel like sitting and watching the paint dry so I went out, got a haircut, went to the gym, and when I got home my goddamned XBL had disconnected. >:-( Logged back in, found my way to the pending downloads screen, and it was only at 25%.
This is some ol’ bull****. So I’ve turned on my other xbox, re-started the download on it, and I’m gonna play some more mother****in Mass Effect 3 MP.
Expected to fire up HALO 4 and get straight into Spartan Ops Episode 6, the new video for it was there, streamed as usual…but then, it said content was missing
When I saw that I was pointed to download 2.2gb, the next 5 epsiodes I was annoyed. What is the point of making such a large download, when you wont be able to play the episodes until 343 unlock them every week, why not just have the single epsiode made available each week, reducing the time needed to get the content and the demand on the Xbox Marketplace Servers

After an hour of trying to download it and only getting to 20% I killed the download so I could enjoy playing other games online with friends…this can now wait for an overnight download or the weekend.
So much hassle when you can only play one episode at a time

Woot. Showed 58% a moment ago. Then went to get a drink, came back and it’s at 27%. -.- Now my 360 says the Halo4 server is unavailable.
Took me about 20 minutes. You have to download it because unlike 1-5 it was not already on the disc.
