Spartan Ops..dogtags elite..

So in the long standing Halo fiction humans were widely regarded as being inferior by the Covenant…only the Spartans were worthy of a name…Demons.

Now in episode 3 of Spartan Ops we see an elite wearing human dogtags on his shoulder…since regular humans arent worthy of the hassle does this mean those are Spartan IV tags? or did 343 just make a decision based on design? or perhaps the stock of humanity in the eyes of the elites has gone up?

Id rather it be dead Spartan IVs.

I think you’re thinking way too into this.

They might have been from his first kill… like saving the first dollar you make…

Could be.

That’s what the forums are for! I see too much raining on people’s parades nowadays. Let the man think and either support and brainstorm or I would be deeply appreciative if you would refrain from speaking.! Have you never watched Bambi?

Now to the OP, I think it would be much more cool if it were S-IV tags. Marines are pretty much the grunts of the humans, not really worth saving if they had bagged a few (hundred).

Well now think about that. Wasn’t it Halo 2 in which the Elites broke away from the Covenant in favor of an alliance with humanity. Would it really be so unheard of for a sangheli to have a certain degree of respect for a human after that?

Like the cutscene where the humans and sangheli are preparing for battle together (presumably on the Forward Unto Dawn)
