A friend and I were talking about Spartan Ops. We are both fairly concerned about the amount of space Spartan Ops is going to take on the hard drive. That concern brought us to our suggestion:
What if 343 were to release a disc that has all the missions on it for Seasons 1-3 (or something like that) allowing us to erase the missions off our hard drives.
It would also be a nice item for collectors to buy.
Thanks for reading and have a nice weekend.
EDIT:
Thinking about it one step further, they could make it akin to the ODST Mythic disc and have all the multiplayer maps on it (DLC included). That way, the players will save a nice chunk of space on their hard drives AND people will be able to play the DLC maps more often as more people would have them. Just a suggestion, of course.
So true. Sometimes it’s so hard for me to find English versions of games because DVD has enough space only for one dubbing. English language usually gets cut out.
INCLUDED WITH HALO 2 ANNIVERSARY, SEASONS TWO AND THREE OF HALO 4’S SPARTAN OPS AND ALL THE MAPS FROM HALO 4’S DOWNLOADABLE MAP PACKS, INCLUDING THE ALL-NEW PHOENIX MAP PACK, INCLUDING THE HIGHLY-CUSTOMISABLE FORGESCAPE AND THE REMAKE OF HALO: REACH’S POWERHOUSE, GENERATION.
They aren’t gana include maps for anything because they are doing it with the limited edition, they aren’t gana screw those people over, maybe if they decide to make more maps past the 3 map packs we are already getting.

You think that will stop them… Even without JTAG. Oh wait nevermind I can’t talk about that on Halo Waypoint without getting ban.
So I drop out here.
Good thing I guess I bought a new hardrive some year ago for next to nothing and use usb key as storage to after keep dlc/save and such on my PC.

A smart thing for 343 to do is release a ‘‘GOTY’’ edition of Halo 4, even it doesn’t win GOTY (which hopefully it will or at least best FPS). It would include all the DLC from different retailers and all the DLC released.

> Yeah, but I don’t think people will be switching back and forth so much that it becomes a problem. ODST pulled it off just fine.
You have to know that not everyone can just go out and buy a hard drive. They are not cheap to say the least. To remain on topic though, I must admit OP, originally when I saw this thread I thought you were going to say Spartan Ops should come with Halo 4 on a separate disk. I hate when games release but they need to release it on multiple disks like LA Noire, which was three disks, Max Payne 3, which had two disks… seems like all these games are rockstar games… lol
In all honesty, I like this idea. Personally, I have a very large hard drive and this would serve no purpose to me, but I completely understand where you’re coming from and I think people with smaller hard drives or no access to Microsoft Points would greatly benefit from this. Plus this disk is portable, like I took my Halo 3 disk to my friends and remembered he didn’t have the maps or anything and the ODST disk would have come in handy. Luckily he had it, but the point is, a disk like this is very convenient and I support you’re idea OP.
If SOps is going to end up having a lot of content then they should eventually release a separate disk. Devs do this all the time for DLC, Bungie did it with ODST and Halo 2 map packs.
