I was going through NeoGaf posts and I came realized something after reading a post from some guy usernamed Chip N Chance, saying:
Is it safe to assume that the Spartan Ops missions will be just areas from the campaign? Otherwise that would require DLC every week, which doesn’t seem possible. Also the cutscences that play would have to be streamed, maybe before the match starts and nothing in the middle and end. The whole thing seems very confusing.

This is why I’m not fond of the idea. It seems whatever way you look at it, it’s eating too much into the development of Halo 4, or its DLC.
Either that, or they’ll just be churning out generic, crappy, repetitive missions as fast as possible every week. The whole thing seems like an insane idea to me.
343 mentioned that there will be seasons, like a tv series. So I assume that the first season will come on the disc and include ALL the episodes of that season. 1 season should last several months, if I understand correctly.
Now, for a second season Im guessing it will be a DLC that includes all episodes of season 2. I think it will work like a magazine, where you subscribe for a year (or however long the season is) and you will get each issue/ episode every week for the duration of the season. I dont think there will be DLC every week.
The first (or first few) season(s) will be free. Whether or not future ones are, I don’t know.
I think it should be monthly.
