SPARTAN OPS Conclusion..uhh... Wow (SPOILERS)

Their are few words to describe this company…dedicated, surprising, hard working, humorous, and secretly caring.I believe that today was the day they shut me up and said “Hey knuckle heads, we know what we are doing”. When i saw Spartan ops slowly develop I grew concerns about how it would effect Halo’s story in a negative way…you can see that on my last post…which is kinda the only post I did…but seeing how i feel I came off to hard on the company without explaining how much I really like the game and appreciate the hard work they have put into this game. I just feel as though I didn’t point that out enough and seeing how I just started to type out my thoughts to these people I didn’t want to come off as a jerk on my first post. so I will post what I love about this game and what surprised me on what a person from 343 would do to show their dedication to a series like Halo later…maybe another day

OK SPARTAN OPS…It’s free…it’s well made and polished, and gives us a little insite on what is happening between Halo 4-5, The C.G.I. is unbelievably great, and the missions really do feel like a mini campaign…almost has a Reach feel to it where you are your own person…which I liked…People complain way to much about the reused spaces in each mission…i got tired of firefight because of the reused map spaces…but they give use new ones ever 1-2 weeks…and the reused ones have great missions that mix up the game play and objectives/ introduce tech I never knew existed…but I’m not going to be a suck up…

I admit no matter how much work and effort I see in any movie/game/show, If the story Is dull and has nothing to keep you wanting more. Like suspense, character development,a decent threat, even mystery that keeps you wanting to find out more…than I won’t care for it…This is what I feared Halo was turning into.

I wrote almost a whole page on it before(which I admit I got carried away)
I was concerned that Halo will no longer have an original story with captivating story that would make me want more…It felt realistic…had characters I cared about, enemies that were devastating and insanely strong…with huge odds staked against us…with a huge mystery I wanted to learn but at the same time…have more to discover…I thought that 343 had gotten ride of the whole concept…

BUT. This Episode…just wow It showed almost everything…I usually play them through the whole week but with each ending leaving me with a cliff hanger kept me wanting to play more! The enemies were tough throughout the missions and the C.G.I…With all the suspense and timing… I actually was thinking we wouldn’t survive this… I thought team majestic wasn’t going to shut down the slipspace machine on time!
It always had developing characters, yeah, but then they took it to a whole new level with Doctor Halsey in the end… Iv’e read books with her…but this is a twist I like, I mean i knew she hated the Unsc…but this puts a whole new character of her.
And the ending…felt like The Halo endings I love…by me stopping to hear the ending music and reading the credits…catching a few names here and their by the like HUNDRED of people that worked their butts off and it wasn’t in vain…while thinking about what I just played/watched…I feel like this was a great way to end Halo 4…seeing how it again opens up the huge amount of conflicts and mess that is to come In the next game…
And 343 has taken the Thoughts i had of the story of Halo being ruined and stuffed them down my mouth :3…we have a ruthless enemy who seems to have a lot to do with the story other than get killed in the last minute seeing how the elites in the last mission were proven to be a threat against the rookie Spartans and their trained commander Palmer… I can’t wait to see where this goes from here! and I’m glade I was wrong about 343 not having a good story…because it was slapped right onto my face :smiley: (which i liked) and I,m wondering what your guys opinions are…on the story ,nothing else

I also wonder if the Covenant took some Prometheans along with them…

If the composer turns you into a promethean, why are there still so many prometheans although the composer was destroyed?

The Didact first used the Composer on his Promethean warrior-servants, and then on some ancient humans. There could be millions of prometheans depending on how many were first composed.

Well when doctor Halsey was investing a “Promethean soul” she may have had one of the millions out their that the Covenant may have found…I believe if the composer was taken all the way to a Halo ring and not have Prometheans their, than there must be a different device that holds them that the covenant may use…probable a bunch of Promethean soul boxes with them now…who knows.

Could their be different types, or models…like a giant snake that buries in the ground and attacks you…or huge crawler…whatever those dog things came from…or are they just machines? And are they all designed to fight the flood as a single “person” or be mixed together in a giant mass?

The composer was the gun that the Didact(spelling?) was using to vaporize those humans toward the end of the campaign.

Well, he vaporized New Phoenix so who knows how many millions of new Promethean Knights he created right there.

All of the people composed in New Phoenix were transferred back to Requiem. All of those people were contained within the “Promethean Soul”. So there aren’t any new Prometheans that were created from that incident because it was already recovered by the UNSC.
