SPARTAN OPS = COD ELITE
Done some looking in to to “Spartan Ops” looks like we get new missions every month as DLC or somthing like that, looks like Halo getting it very own CoD elite. Don’t remember wanting that for halo 4. It just sound to gimmicky to me they could of easily improved Firefight and added some storyline/Objectives to it like what asked but we get this crap instead.
Oh well, Welcome to Call of Halo: Spartan ops 4. What do you think?
*Can’t we just get the Missions upfront from the first day, and please don’t tell me it going to be free. This is microsoft lol, you guys are on somthing
I’m pretty sure it’s more like Spec Ops from MW2. And wasn’t CoD Elite a service like B.net’s filesharing and stat-tracking, but you had to pay for it?
OP you getting at this all wrong. Spartan Ops is the new Co Op mode in Halo 4 and is part of the game. Every week we will get 5 free new missions that have to do with CGI clip.
> Exactly what is CoD Elite anyways?
Just a service for stats and if you pay for it you get DLC early
No, Spartan ops, despite the name similarities, is completely different than Cod Elite or anything cod related.
While cod elite is essentially an external, optional package that gives you some online features and free dlc.
Spartan Ops are story driven co op missions that are equal in scope to the main campaign. While spec ops missions are non story based and essentially just co op with ai combatants, Spartan Ops are episodic story driven missions that unfold over the coming months.
They are completely free and comes included in the Halo 4 package. You will not have to pay a thing.
With a continuous narrative thread that relates to Campaign and other canon. What’s not to like? I can’t think of anybody who’s ever done this before. My hat is doffed to 343 on this. Exemplary work.
No sir, Halo 4’s Spartan ops are not DLC, they come with the package of buying Halo 4. More and more missions will come out through weeks for the next several months for free. Everything that is similar to COD in Halo overshadows about everything else according to all of your logic, doesn’t it?
Infinity is a hub of Halo 4’s multiplayer experience, and a UNSC ship outfitted with the best technologies the UNSC could find and create at the time as well as numerous Spartan IVs. Multiplayer will serve as a training simulation for your Spartan (inside the UNSC Infinity’s holographic simulation room) and also some sort of episodic, months-spanning co-op campaign through Spartan Ops. You will get five new Spartan Ops missions every week, all of this is for free. Sounds awesome. There may be a catch, though. This is too good to be true.
