Sorry if this has already been posted before, but today while playing Spartan Ops, I noticed a clear allusion to Breaking Bad.
On Episode 10, Chapter 3, you fight alongside some Spartan Fire team Forest, and their leader is named
Gustavo Esposito
In Breaking Bad, a popular AMC drama, there was an antagonist named
Gustavo Fring
and he was played by
Giancarlo Esposito.
Thus, if you put them together, you get the name of the character in Spartan Ops,
Gustavo Esposito.
A neat reference to a great show. For those who haven’t seen it, I highly recommend.
