I would like to know your opinion on the episodes of Spartan Ops and the multi-player of halo 4
I have just tried and I was really disappointed…
I have less appreciate the multi-player of halo 4 compared with Halo 3 and Reach.
But Halo 4 is a good game, not the best of the halos but … a good game !
I would have to say halo 4 is my least favorite halo game, tho it isnt the worst game in the world. I would have to say the biggest problem in the game would be each and every mode is completely unfinished and causes it to completely fall short and fail. The game should have been delayed and finished.
Spartan Ops
Spartan Ops was alright. Could have been much better executed.
For example, there isn’t much setting it apart from Co-Op campaign, and since it lacks the unique levels of campaign (let’s revisit complex 10 times…) it’s actually inferior.
Spartan Ops should be it’s own complete campaign where each person has a specific role or is at least encouraged to co-operate, and the cutscenes should actually correlate with what you are doing in the game. We are Crimson, not Majestic. Have the cutscenes and storyline reflect that.
Multiplayer
The maps are terrible due to the inclusion of jetpack and sprint. They are needlessly large and needlessly flat.
‘Pro’ settings are tolerable. Infinity settings are very imbalanced.
The weapons function how they should after the TU, and movement feels more fluid than Halo 3 and Halo Reach. I just wish there was less aim assist and no sprint.
I agree with goobot that H4 should’ve been delayed or something, but I have really enjoyed playing halo 4. Yes, it had it’s issues, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game! The fact is that they couldn’t delay it because most people were getting tired of waiting.
Anyway, back to sp Ops. It didn’t really go well. They didn’t add a score so you couldn’t really be competitive, it was kind of dumb because we had unlimited lives. That could’ve been a good thing, but they needed more time to work on it. In all, sp Ops was a good idea, but they should’ve worked on it more.

Indeed, Spartan Ops was a very good idea but one can failure.
Nevertheless Halo 4 remains a good game, but I prefer that campaign. The campaign is very short and she have enough success (solo or cooperation).
Spartans Ops have neither skulls nor options, it’s a pity.
The campaign is short, in legendary I set ~ 8:20 hours (I am not very good)
Positive: always full of easter eggs!
My favorite Halo: Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo CE, Halo Reach, Halo 2 and Halo Wars.
But I doesn’t know where to put Halo 4 in this list rather.
