I like spartan ops a lot, much better than firefight.Now that aside, why is it so laggy when you play it on co-op?Everyone I play with whether it be a random or my friends almost 99% lag on spartan ops. it seems they did the same thing Bungie did with Reach on firefight’s servers. It’s exactly the same lag issue, which makes it unbearable, I mean I like playing on co-op cause it has the POTENTIAL to be more fun, but its just too laggy to aim/shoot right.( kinda like it sticky, if that makes sense to anyone.) All this money spent on this game, and they couldn’t give us good servers for Spartan Ops? Matchmaking servers are perfect, no lag what so ever, not even an issue on matchmaking. So why is that? It makes no sense to me.

That’s weird. I didn’t get any problems at all when playing it.
When you are host it´s great, it feels like playing offline campaign, but if another person gets host it becomes horrible laggy/delayed it´s thesame problem that was in Reachs Campaign and Firefight…so poor that they are not fixing it.
Same problem for me, it is destroying Spartan ops for me, campaign is the same too if I play online coop. I just can hardly aim as it seems to float and have controller lag or something. Playing matchmaking is perfectly fine apart from when you’re on a bad host and you jump about the map etc… :S
Lag is awful in Spartan Ops. It’s almost a 3/4 sec delay from the time I pull the trigger to when the gun actually shoots on the screen. After 2 straight laggy games, I started playing War Games and had zero lag issues.
I also finished all 5 chapters in both Episode 1 and 2, and my weekly SO challenge won’t unlock at all. Not sure if this is related to the lag, since chapters 3-5 in Episode 2 had extreme lag in them.

I think chapters 3-5 were more laggy probably due to more enemies on the map at the same time, so the Frames Per Second dropped along with the bad lag spartan ops has, making the lag much worse.
