Just a small post. Now that there is a fairly stable relationship with huans and elites, and elites are most likely to return to halo 5 with the emphasis on the arbiter shown recently, why not have playable elites AND spartans if there is a new spartan ops in halo 5? Would simply be cool and depending on how the story is written, I can see no reason it shouldn’t be included.

yeah having to play like elites once or twice would be cool or having 2 elites and 2 spartans! i also want to see longer and better missions. wort wort wort

OT: I doubt they’re going to make another Spartan Ops season even in Halo 5 unless it were heavily modified from the original but I would love to have the ability to play as an Elite here and there. While not many were a fan of it in Halo 2 I love seeing the story of Chief and Arbiter back to back so this seems like a welcome addition to me.
While I would call the general human-elite relationship anything but stable, it would be cool to incorporate friendly elites in something like Spartan Ops.
Unsc-Covenant joint operations! Although wouldn’t be much of Spartan ops… imagine if they let us play as Jul’s covenant in a way similar to Spartan ops.

true, but locke and arbiter might have a ok relationship and then they do the same thing as halo 3 two different elites! WORT WORT

If Elites return I could definitely see them having a split Spartan Ops.addition.
Perhaps alternating between a human squad such as Majestic and an Elite one with N’tho 'Sroam and Usze 'Taham plus two new Elite characters. It would be a good way to keep Spartan Ops diverse and interesting while leaving it open enough for the stories to cross over(particularly in the finale).
The biggest problem I had with Spartan Ops was the repetition. You could alleviate a lot of that by having two different/parallel stories focusing on different parts of the sandbox human/covenant respectively.
