SpOps is the continuation of the most epic sci-fi story of this generation (opinion), does anyone care!?
Anyways, the cliffhanger in this weeks episode has me thinking something totally awesome, and probably way out of the ballpark but what if I’m right!?
What if the huge amount of covenant gathering on your position are sympathetic with the Arbiter? I only say this because I’ve seen a few too many “oh, -Yoink-!” moments in Halo and they’ve turned out to be not so bad. Like every cutscene with a human flying a Banshee.
Or Thorne will come flying out of the sky in a Lich like a cowboy-badass and take out that whole group of Covies.
Either way, I can’t wait until Monday.
Looking forward to the next ones as well, hopefully we’ll get some Arby action.
… And why would the arbiter shoot down a UNSC pelican?
I literally laughed out loud when the Pelican got shot down. Once the sound track changed to something really epic as it flew in, I was thinking… “yeah yeah, and then BOOM everything blows up”

Yeah. Right up there with Cortana prior to her going off the deep end.
I can only assume next week we’ll start out with a chapter of withstanding the assault, followed by a chapter of vehicle support. Then the Covies will send in a Cruiser or more and it will get nuked somehow.
Speaking of which, for being a splinter faction 'Mdama’s group can seem to afford to lose a lot of ships.
I believe 'Mdama really is more than a “Splinter”. It upset me how they call it that, as they are stressing making the books a vital part of the storyline. I won’t give everything away, but let’s just say Jul 'Mdama stumbles upon much more than a “splinter” of super crazy covies to follow him to Requiem.
As for Arby shooting down a pelican…perhaps he’s pissed off that the humans purposely provoked an attempted coup on his throne?
But why wouldn’t all of those ships be firing? It seems strange that they just gathered there like that. I really hope something comes of this rather than the usual Firefight Mode in disguise.
